WASHINGTON (AP) — The betting was that law-and-order Attorney General Jeff Sessions would come out against the legalized marijuana industry with guns blazing. But the task force Sessions assembled to find the best legal strategy is giving him no ammunition, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.
The Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety, a group of prosecutors and federal law enforcement officials, has come up with no new policy recommendations to advance the attorney general’s aggressively anti-marijuana views. The group’s report largely reiterates the current Justice Department policy on marijuana.

I think it’s simpler than that. The Left Stream Media is using every issue they can to divide support for Trump. They ginned up the idea that Sessions would come “guns blazing” after the states that have legalized pot. Even in this article, where they have to admit that his own task force isn’t recommending that, they’re trying to keep that coal alive by blowing rhetoric like “guns blazing” on it.

So the deck was stacked with drug warriors, and they still recomended a hands off policy. Back in 1969 Nixon did the same thing, and they reccomended legalization. Since they didn't come up with the answer he wanted to hear, Nixon ignored them, made pot a class 1 narcotic, and instituted the modern war on drugs. Hopefully Trump won't follow suit.
