WASHINGTON (AP) — The betting was that law-and-order Attorney General Jeff Sessions would come out against the legalized marijuana industry with guns blazing. But the task force Sessions assembled to find the best legal strategy is giving him no ammunition, according to documents obtained by The Associated Press.
The Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety, a group of prosecutors and federal law enforcement officials, has come up with no new policy recommendations to advance the attorney general’s aggressively anti-marijuana views. The group’s report largely reiterates the current Justice Department policy on marijuana.

Read the Constitution. Congress was delegated power to control immigration and repel invasions. Therefore, cities have no authority to become sanctuaries.
There is no such power delegated to control intrastate commerce, unless you want to defend the New Deal Commerce Clause.

I love it! Drug warriors are great. If you have smoked pot your mind is controlled by the desire for drugs and your opinion about pot is worthless. If you haven't smoked pot you know noting about it and your opinion about pot is worthless.

Donald Trump is trying to bridge the divide, which lands him with a Thanksgiving dinner’s worth of stuff on his plate. He can’t possibly address it all. However he’s not come fulminating about a “marijuana menace” either. Like the good doctor, his first rule is do no harm — and prohibition always does constitutional harm. Always.
The battle of drug abuse should be one of churches and of faith. Churches, show why faith in God is better than partaking in some intoxicant until a body is stunned. Don’t just mouth about it. And don’t pretend that it isn’t going on vigorously in the shadows no matter what the human attempts to ban it are.
But suppose there wasn’t any so called romanticization, only a biblically sober view, such as what applied in the 1700s and 1800s?

Propel something wrongfully into the romantic sphere, don’t be too surprised at where the counter reaction lies too.
The point we sober minded people make is that like anything else, to be used right it must be used “under God.”
