And what’s more, the romanticization began with the “anti” movement, by trumping up the harms even worse than what they are. Reefer madness anyone? The fright-oriented crime shows that would aver that without the fuzz ever present, we would have heartless murderers around every corner luring young girls to being choked to death?
Propel something wrongfully into the romantic sphere, don’t be too surprised at where the counter reaction lies too.
