Fake News, Pandering, and Propaganda: A Night of the Absurd with CNN’s Acosta, Cuomo, and Ryan

With Don Lemon taking some vacation, CNN Tonight has featured New Day co-host Chris Cuomo, so Wednesday’s show went as well as you’d expect with liberal propaganda, a full defense of Jim Acosta after being thrashed by Stephen Miller, and unchallenged fake news by April Ryan.

Let’s first take Cuomo’s first minute or so, because that in of itself could serve as a piece worthy of ridicule. The show started with a live shot of the Statue of Liberty with Cuomo declaring: “There she is, lady liberty. A symbol of America's benevolent invitation.”

Acosta got his butt handed to him by Miller at the WH press briefing.

It has been fascinating to watch the msm surround Acosta with him a group hugs, and massage his inner child after being bruised, and telling him it will all be ok. “Stop crying and go out and try again,” they say. “We will be here for you with more group hugs if you get hurt again.”

Back when those words were written on the Statue welfare wasn’t anything like what it is now and you couldn’t just come to the US and sign up for welfare, like they do now.

You’d think that it would be obvious that the Statue of Liberty is a statue celebrating liberty. It’s not called the “Statue of Immigration”.

BTW, when they point to the Statue of Liberty (not the Statue of Immigration) they never point out the medical screening and the background you had to pass before entry. It was not anti latino as those coming in arrived by boat mostly from Europe.

Miller should have pointed out to Acosta that the poem was written in —— ENGLISH! Immigrants should be able to read it.

Then again, liberals would probably demand that a Spanish version be added to the Statue.

The really ironic on this liberal non issue is that in 1903, the year the poem was added to the base, a full 50% of those making it to Ellis Island were TURNED AWAY and sent back home because of illness or disease, lack of the required money on their person to enter, or were mentally or physically unfit, or were criminals, or wanted to overthrow the USA.
Lack of knowledge on the subject by liberals is embarrassing and appalling.

Not all of the Tired, huddled masses were eligible to enter the USA, regardless of what blowhard Acosta says.
