Health insurer Aetna announced Thursday that it would completely withdraw from the Obamacare exchanges in 2018, after seeing its profits soar from reducing its participation this year.
The company said during an earnings call that it was withdrawing from the exchange in Nevada, the last state it had considered staying in. Aetna was leaving the possibility open because it was applying for a Medicaid managed care contract, and the state gives extra consideration to insurers that participate in both programs.

Aetna is determined to pick taxpayer pockets one way or another.
As Our President says: “let it collapse” then the dems will be begging him to fix it...ROFL...they are the ones that voted on this mess, fix it yourselves, oh yeah I forgot, they don’t have brains to think with!!!

It was built to implode. They knew it would fail. That’s why they passed it. What they didn’t count on was a trump win. That tossed a monkey wrench in their single payer plans.
They bought their tickets. They knew what they were getting into.

I think there should be a government clinic in each town that is absolutely free to anyone that walks in and can treat anything. All doctors that work an hour there, get an hour of their private income tax free. All private clinics send all ALL people who will not pay to the government clinic, no more clogging up the ER, no more sticking paying customers with their unpaid bills. No more turning hospitals into wal mart. Blammo free chit for freeloaders (and even legitamate hard cases), and it is 100% government controlled (therefore superior), while not ruining the private system for everyone else.
Good for Aetna. Insurance companies may be greedy, but they aren’t stupid.
Fear not, Susan Collins, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain will handle it.

Yes, let its death spiral continue. The ‘RATS own this pile of excrement 100%. Let them OWN IT in the 2018 elections after American citizens see the MASSIVE cost increases coming their way in the 2019 Obamacare premiums & the co-pays & deductibles. There will be a ‘RAT bloodbath ... and the ‘RATS KNOW IT! Let’s not rescue them.
I’ve been surprised and sad to see some “weak sisters” here on FR advocating that Republicans work with the ‘RATS to rescue Obamacare (I.e., give it new MASSIVE subsidies and help it further progress us toward socialized medicine).
I don't have a lot of hope for either.
Nope... at the end of the day the media and democrats will have the whole works blamed on Trump and the republicans.
And enough of the voters will believe it.
