It's The New York Times, so there's a strong possibility of distortion in this story, but here it is.

I always turn to a Jewish writer from the New York Times for an accurate, objective story about Catholicism.

It's The New York Times so I'm not convinced that "Pope Francis", much less his "two close associates" even exist ...

Yeah, but under the RCC's current "leadership", I think not.

More #Fakenews. When the little boy cried wolf to many times, everyone stopped believing him.
So goes the liberal media. They lie about the lying liars and then lie about lying about the lying liars.

“has stymied action against climate change”
GOOD!
Population control is foundational in the fraud of “climate change”.
Population control is antithetical to Catholic doctrine.
I will argue that point with ANYONE at the Vatican.

And, what is an “ultra conservative?” Do they were little, embroidered “u” on their birettas?

Especially when they said Cdl Mueller was “fired.” His term expired and wasn’t renewed. He wasn’t fired. Good grief.

Archbishop Charles J. Chaput of Philadelphia, a standard-bearer for conservatism in America, likened the Civiltà Cattolica authors in his weekly newsletter to the useful idiots who supported the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. He called the article an exercise in dumbing down and inadequately presenting the nature of Catholic/evangelical cooperation on religious freedom and other key issues.
