A pair of GOP senators are pushing to change the Senate's rules to allow President Trump's nominees to more quickly clear the Senate amid growing frustration.

Of course, McCain opposes the change.
McCain is in AZ having his brain cooked by radiation.
The cooking is seemingly doing nothing to quell his daily Trump hate invective ‘public’ statements.
My mother had a brain tumor and targeted radiation. Totally wiped her out. Radiation on the brain is almost as bad as what chemo does to the total body. I know I’ve had chemo and was taking care of her during her radiation.
The GOP is a waste of time...Trump will have to run against them
do what needs to happen to achieve the goals or lose the country..those are the stakes..bull doze them politically in every way possible.
Who runs anything in 2017 with anything like these archaic Senate rules? If the Senate can’t modernize its worthless branch of government, it should be discarded, and we should go to the unicameral government model of Nebraska. They have made it work since the 1930s when they ditched the two-house legislature as inefficient. It would be an improvement over the current Senate, a legislative tar pit where Senate dinosaurs go to die.
The DNC is in freefall and on life support and the GOP saves the day by filling in as the go to opposition party to resist Trump. God help us. So discouraging.
yep, it is too big to control..the world economy is a shell game at best...come Lord
Did I say anything about the GOP?
Nope. Didn’t think so.

From news item:
“GOP Sens. James Lankford (Okla.) and Ron Johnson (Wis.) want to curb the amount of debate time required for most of the president’s nominees after they clear an initial hurdle, which is currently capped at 30 hours.
Under Lankford’s proposal, which he pitched during a closed-door conference meeting earlier this year, debate time would be limited to 8 hours for non-Cabinet nominations.”
Johnson wants two hours.
Do it, get Grassley on board and it will happen.
The frustration is that of the disgusted voters who are ready toss them out
Nice thing about McCain is that he is 80 and can’t have but another 20 years or so to fulfill the Kennedy agenda of destroying the Republic.
How can anyone as disposed as McCain, keep getting elected?
What’s good for the goose is apparently not also good for the gander.
If they continue to be defeatist do nothing, they will end up like GWB’S first GOP hel congress...GONE, REPLACED BY DEMS we will have a hard time ousting AGAIN.
well, well, maybe radiation and chemo do have a sue after all.
