The Justice Department’s new terminology for illegal immigrants is making liberal heads spin.
Departing from Obama-era terms like “undocumented,” “unauthorized,” and “migrants,” the DOJ began referring to illegal immigrants as “illegal aliens.”
“Today Attorney General Jeff Sessions met with families who have lost loved ones because of crimes committed by illegal aliens,” read the opening line of a DOJ press release last month.
The term appeared again last week in an official statement announcing tougher rules for sanctuary cities, according to Fox News.
“So-called ‘sanctuary’ policies make all of us less safe because they intentionally undermine our laws and protect illegal aliens who have committed crimes,” Sessions said in a statement.
Naturally, this shift in word choice outraged those on the left who claim the term “illegal” is somehow a racist slur.
Chicago Tribune writer Todd Slowik complained that “word choice is important,” and can send the wrong message.

There are illegal aliens.
Citizens of other countries illegally in our country who did not apply to be immigrants.
They either broke in or overstayed a tourist or student visa.
They are not undocumented, they usually have multiple sets of fraudulent documents, fraudulently documented foreigners.
They are not immigrants, they did not apply to be immigrants, did not pay their fees to be immigrants, did not learn the language or comply with the laws.
ALL illegal aliens ARE subject to removal.
We should not have to wait until they harm or kill Americans.
President Trump is a better culture warrior than actual culture warriors.
This is the type of card he is always going to have available to keep his floor from ever dropping below 40 percent.
I figure a year until he pushes for an “English Only” bill.
The left has used PC language to try to make people think illegal aliens are immigrants.
They can’t be immigrants because they did not apply to be immigrants.
Fraudulently documented foreigners is closer to the truth, but the truth is anathema to the left.
My personal fave is: "Undocumented withdrawal" for a bank holdup.
I know Obama wanted to change that in the statutes. I have to wonder if that was ever done.
Slick Willy did a better job at enforcement than either Bush.

Illegal alien has long been the legal term for a foreign born person who has entered the United States without prior permission from our government..
Alien s the term given to foreign born people within our shores regardless of how they got here...
A Registered Alien is one who has immigrated that is applied to enter and didn’t come until permission was granted and who received all the necessary papers including an Alien Registration Card AKA a green card...and shots medical clearance and good background check and no criminal record and employment record...one who has proven he or she will work and support themselves and embrace our western way of life and democratic government and laws...someone who will not be a menace and a threat to the citizens of our peaceful country...an immigrant is usually thankful for the opportunity to live here...
an Illegal Alien is a person who has not bothered or cared to adhere to our laws or our culture, and has not asked permission before stealth fully entering a sovereign nation not their own...who may be sick or a criminal, ...usually someone who would not pass muster to enter our country if they did apply first...they have no desire to assimilate to our lifestyle nor are they mindful of the opportunities offered by our country but are ungrateful and often demanding what is not theirs by right of citizenship...
The difference between an immigrant and an illegal alien lies in more than their actions ... its an attitude towards the very idea of what America stands for...patriotism, honor, right and wrong, freedom, national pride, respect, appreciation, the flag, love of country, sacrifice...these things are missing from the psyche of an illegal alien towards the “host” country...
AMNESTY is of no use for an illegal alien...he wasn’t grateful towards America before nor was he a good candidate to be an American citizen...he wont develop any form of attachment or allegiance towards our country just because his crimes of entering and staying illegally are forgiven...
The term ILLEGAL ALIEN sums up exactly what he is...a foreign born person who owes his allegiance to another country and who entered ours illegally, snubbing his nose at our laws...
He is an outlaw and a criminal against our country and her citizens...he didn’t suddenly fall from the sky into the area within our borders...he plotted and planned and sometimes paid great sums to deceive and enter as a thief in the night...
He is a criminal...

I have never heard anyone have a problem with the true term for illegal aliens. No one at all. I wonder if the left would have a problem with their term “documented cucktards”? At least it is accurate.
