This is one of the first times I have seen something that I have been thinking of for a long time, has been said out loud: That the Elite in the Western world and California in particular want to restructure society on a medieval framework of Elites and Serfs (slaves).
First Things Journal this month also has an author mention this in an article called "The Age of Concentration By Eugene Voldoazkin.

On Carlson's show this man dismissed the middle class and focused upon immigration as what will power California. When Carlson brought up the medevil aspects the radical leftist was dismissive.
There is a walk in the Western world towards enslavement.
I look at the people enamored by the tiny house movement, the talk about guaranteed basic income, the continued childlessness promotion, all guaranteeing the demise of western independence of life and thought.
One can dismiss these thoughts until one is made aware that people in Greece and Rome and elsewhere VOLUNTARILY enslaved themselves to the powerful before capitalism became a driving force. Greek teachers often enslaved themselves to the elite. These were matters of survival. If the elite continue to shrink the concept of free market capitalism in order to maintain power and control they will bring upon the world a Dark Age and medievalism.
Actually, CA needs to be broken up into about half a dozen states. WA and OR into two each - East and West”.

This Calexit stuff is funny. It’s thrown out there without any analysis of the real challenges, like:
- The U.S. would likely withdraw their military bases, a huge economic impact.
- California has unsustainable debt which the U.S. will no longer protect or guarantee.
- Most large corporations there are U.S. based, with the bulk of their business sales and operations in the rest of the states. Many of those companies would have to relocate to the U.S. or face additional tax and import burdens.
- The numbers of poor and socially-supported people are unsustainable.
- They don’t have enough power to support their state/country, nor the resources to make it.
- The don’t have enough water to support their state/country, nor the resources to draw it.
- The population is engaging in their own “Calexit”, by moving in vast numbers out of the state. These are productive middle class citizens and fed-up wealthy folks. The exodus in unsustainable and would require California to open their borders to immigration even more, creating an even greater burden on their social systems.
These are serious gaps in their plans, which don’t seem to rise to the level of discussion, even in these silly interviews. Calexit would be a disaster for California, and would be an amusing collapse to watch.

Has the author not SEEN the tax code; how much each of us ‘owe’ a large % of our lives to taxes? How those taxes are given to others w/o input (economic slavery)? Not aware of the areas/amount of ‘license’ one needs from govt to do....anything (exercise 2nd, ‘drive’, travel (visa), hell, even work on your OWN home)? How the BLM/Park Service/etc. presume all land/water/air is ‘theirs’.
Serfdom has BEEN in the U.S. a great many moon. Those whom believe the 13th ended slavery are woefully ignorant.

Did you watch the video? Clearly, the guy was unhinged in a way that Pentagon officials are not. They are just vile, spineless cowards who seem to have no idea that they are destroying the country. Or they don’t care because they have large pensions.

I have seen the tax code. I understand that we are greatly burdened however, I have not seen open discussion about increasing and structuring serfdom and slavery on a policy proposal basis.
They would also inherit either 1/50th of the national debt, or the debt on a per-capita basis, which would be considerably more.
Wee, they logically own a share of that stuff too.
That guy Tucker had on was IMO quite high on something. His body movements, expressions, and the content of his message told me he was messed up, and I do mean TOTALLY messed up. He most certainly did NOT speak for the majority of Californians either.
