I have seen the tax code. I understand that we are greatly burdened however, I have not seen open discussion about increasing and structuring serfdom and slavery on a policy proposal basis.

No, they would never do so (currently) in the open. They DO use said tax code, 'mandates', govt 'law', force and intimidation to do the same. What is welfare if not economic slavery? Property taxes ensure eternal rent to the State, never ownership? All license akin to asking the King's permission? Serfdom in all but name.
