This alludes to an NSA report and says that an FBI report is the source of the information. If NSA and FBI both knew that Seth Rich was the source, then a whole bunch of people should have been arrested by them for OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE with this “Russia collusion” crap!

One thing to notice is the ease with which the Seth Rich murder, and Seth Rich "source of DNC emails" are linked.

CNN is moving on a track that if the murder is not linked to Wikileaks, then Seth is not the source. That is, by debunking the murder conspiracy story, they also debunk the "insider job" story.

Hersh, to his credit, views the two subjects as unlinked.

Sounds like Hirsch thinks it was a botched robbery. Problem with that position is the murder weapon was a .22 and nothing was taken. A .22 better explains why Rich was conscious at the crime scene, but raises major suspicion behind his later death in the hospital. If robbery was indeed the motive, how many seconds would it have taken to steal his wallet, phone, and watch? Rich knew he was treading into treacherous territory because of the triggers he put in place if something happened to him. I read somewhere that Imran Awan was at the party Seth attended earlier in the evening with DNC employees. With Imran’s IT access in the DNC he likely knew what Seth was doing. So he shadowed Rich at the party and set his hit squad in motion to take out Rich at Schultz's direction.

I suspect DNC foul play in Seth’s death, but I don’t believe it because Seymour Hersh says so. Actually, I wish he did not weigh in on the topic. His biggest bragging rights is not that he has been right most of the time because he has been wrong most of the time. His biggest accomplishment is in a penchant for creating or joining controversy.
