A word of caution for folks planning a family-friendly vacation to New York City -- we've been overrun by a horde of naked street performers.
The New York Post reports topless females and filthy costumed characters have turned Times Square into a haven for seedy shakedown artists.
The bare-naked broads are lewd and crude -- harassing unsuspecting tourists -- especially families.
"I told you, if you don't have a tip, then f*** off," one woman told a New York Post reporter.

If I’m not mistaken, public topless is legal in NY and has been for decades.
I stayed in a Times Square hotel on business in the pre-Di Blasio era and was pleasantly surprised by how clean the area was—there were no pan-handlers or street people to be found.
It sounds like the new mayor has waved his magic wand on the place—and turned it into the standard Democratic urban wasteland.
Saw some of that going on in Vegas recently.
But it was 2 in the morning....and Vegas.

Simple fix. A wide rubber band looped over the forefinger and thumb, a small piece of cardbord or a pea, walk behind her and WAP! A quick scream by her and a big red welt on the butt.
Repeat as necessary.
It's reverting to the mess that it was pre-Giuliani. I recall that after Giuliani cleaned it, removing the graffiti from the trains and the human garbage from Times Square, there was an article in the Times stating how they missed the old sleaze of Time Square, which added such character to the city. The NYT pigs must be happy now that they can wallow in their own filth again.
My local panhandlers tend to be bearded white men who appear to be perfectly capable of working. Topless hotties would be a nice change.

These women wear a swimsuit type bottom and body paint their breasts. So far NYPD has been letting them get away with it. Can’t believe, however, that Rudy would let them do this.

Naked female illegal aliens? If naked 4-foot tall and 4-foot wide Mexican women float your boat, then there’s not a lot I can say.
My daughter went to work in Manhattan in 2000 and so I made a number of trips there until she moved. Had the same experience as you. This was the tail-end of the Rudi years. By 2006 you could already feel the rot start to set back in with Bloomberg.
