I stayed in a Times Square hotel on business in the pre-Di Blasio era and was pleasantly surprised by how clean the area was—there were no pan-handlers or street people to be found.
It sounds like the new mayor has waved his magic wand on the place—and turned it into the standard Democratic urban wasteland.
Saw some of that going on in Vegas recently.

I walk through Times Square frequently for work and have never seen anything like this happening, nor have I seen any “bare-naked” broads.
There are often a few ladies on Broadway between 43rd and 45th Streets with mostly painted on costumes posing for pictures with willing tourists for tips. There’s also often a guy dressed as Donald Trump. The costumed super heroes can be a nuisance because there are so many of them.
I think all these reports we’re now hearing about “Naked aggressive panhandlers” is overblown click-bait. I won’t argue that DeBlasio sucks though.
