Here’s Who Obama Is Pushing To Run For President (Deval Patrick]
Daily Caller ^ | 8/1/17 | Chuck Ross

President Obama and some of his advisers have been pushing former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick to run for president in 2020, it was revealed on Tuesday.

According to Politico, David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett are two of the Obama alums urging the 61-year-old Patrick to consider a White House bid.

Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest White House advisers, told Politico that a Patrick presidential bid is what “my heart desires.”

“He has the ability to touch people’s hearts as well as their minds,” Jarrett said recently. “I think our country is ready for that now — let alone in three years.”

“He’s kind of a natural to look at because he was a successful governor, he is an inspiring guy, and you have to ask yourself what is the country going to be looking for in their next president after this guy?” said Axelrod, who has advised Patrick in the past.

He’s not nearly as smooth as Obama. He doesn’t stand a chance, lots of skeletons.

I don’t think many whites, other than libs, will vote for a black man because they don’t want to be called a racist everytime they disagree with his policies. That got old really fast.

Kinda surprised here. Although I despise Axelrod, I do believe he is pretty smart - he got the empty suit obozo elected after all. But Duval Patrick?! Are you effing kidding me?!

He is the only remotely credible candidate I can see come out of the Democrat Party.

Really? Is that just because he was a governor? To me, he looks like one of the less credible candidates.

Sort of like Daniels or Pawlenty a few years back, people who looked good on paper but didn't get very far.

Sort of like an older Corey Booker. Or a darker Tim Kaine.

I'm not sure Obama is behind this. He may be waiting for more serious candidates to emerge.

His people, though, want jobs, and they think Deval will give them positions and not exercise much control over what they do -- an appealing offer to a lot of politicos.

True Conservatism, from within the Democratic Party, vanished, first. The entire GOP should be taking full advantage of this fact, instead of being The Stupid Party, with their Big Tent philosophy and with the ongoing existence of RINO Republicanism. The present GOP won’t, even, do what needs to be done on true repealing and true replacing of Obamacare, thanks to RINO Republicanism, Anti-Trump Republicanism, and ongoing stupidity, on the GOP side.

You are ignoring one other factor, in determining how future U.S. elections in ‘18 and in ‘20 goes: President Donald Trump’s winning, on the majority of issues. What Congress does before then should be kept separate from what President Trump does, before then. So far, President Trump is winning, and enough general election voters will pay attention to this.

I certainly hope you are right. I remember how shocked I was when, after Reagan, people completely forgot (or disbelieved / ignored) that his policies ignited the strongest economy in decades. Trump can get the same results and people will promptly forget him or tell intentional lies that he inherited the about-to-explode economy from the magic negro. The MSM plays a huge role (obviously) in these disinformation campaigns. Never underestimate the ignorance of most of the electorate. After all, they put the most radical senator of the past 50 years into the White House believing his stupid “Hope and Change” pablum which was nothing but a cover for radical socialism.

A black will have a hard time getting elected after what Obama did to race relations in his second term with the Black Lives Matter and anti cop agenda, and all that race card crap.

Americans want to be able to criticize their president without fear of being called a racist.

LOL Transgender candidates.....

That’s how it goes today with the Democrats. You have to be able to say which grievance group you are a member of.

Grievance groups are pretty much everyone besides white heterosexual men. So their ideal candidate would be a member of a group such as :

1. black
2. woman
3. Hispanic
4. any other non-Caucasian ethnic minority such as American Indians.

5. homosexuals
6. “trans” whatever peoples
7. someone from a recent immigrant background family, however, that background must be an ethnic minority. A recent immigrant from European background doesn’t count.

I’m sure there are other groups to mention, but these are some key groups.
