Later this year unless President Trump intervenes the American people will get access to the last of thousands of secret government files about a turning point in the nations history: the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The National Archives this week released several hundred of the documents, which come from CIA and FBI files, and of course, JFK researchers are scrambling to see whether they contain any new clues about the presidents murder. But many more documents remain under seal, awaiting release by this October, the 25-year deadline set by the 1992 Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act.
The law gives only one person the president the ability to stop the release from happening. He can act only if he certifies in writing that the documents would somehow endanger national security.

This reads like conspiracy theory from Politico.com but really hits on the probable truth.

Oswald went to the Soviet Union and expected to be welcomed into the "Workers Paradise" but instead, was marginalized, mistrusted and ignored. He came back the the USA with his pride destroyed. He went to the Cuban Embassy in Mexico City in hope of better treatment by the new Communist society that Castro was creating in Cuba, but did not get a "red carpet" treatment there either.
He then came up with an idea that he boasted would make them respect the name Lee Harvey Oswald. The Cubans and Soviets must have laughed themselves silly to hear Oswald say what he intended to do. A piqued Oswald then went back to Dallas and did what he bragged he would do. History is filled with weak little men that did heinous acts to assuage their shattered egos. End of story.
Slawson is careful to note that he is not suggesting any sort of far-flung, carefully laid-out conspiracy.
The Mexico City angle does not refute the possibility of a conspiracy in the assassination. Plausibly, with Oswald under surveillance, he could have been recruited into a false flag operation in which he was led to believe that he was acting at the behest of Cuban intelligence to leave a rifle on the parade route as a tangible warning to JFK against any more assassination plots against Castro. Meanwhile, a larger and more determined and lethal assassination plot constructed around Oswald came to fruition.
This would explain why, after Kennedy is shot, Oswald acts in a panicky manner as if he did not plan what happened: he flees the TSBD, shoots Tippit, tries to hide in the Texas Theater, and, in custody, calls himself "a patsy" instead of declaring himself an agent of the worker's revolution. The Cuban government might swap a spy for an assassin, but why would they swap a spy for a patsy?
Higg, what are your feelings regarding the near identical to Dallas style assassination, (The planned but foiled early on assassination attempts), in Nov. 1963 in Chicago and Tampa? They are both well known about.
Okay, they cancelled Chicago, but I’ve seen pictures of Tampa, etc. and different politicians in open cars (Adlai Stevenson); they should not have been so lax.
Yet, in LA/Southern California, the SS basically walked/flanked the car at a very low speed, 5 mph. Secret service were a real wall of security in the youtube video I’ve seen of that.
Poppy Gore with JFK in Nashville, I mean, could anyone be more of a sitting duck than Jack in that car?

In fact, the picture may exist but from West Germany to Milwaukee, SF, SD, LA, I’ve seen pictures of the JFK motorcade but never this bubble top.
Oswald was part of it, that’s why he was silenced by Ruby. Conspiracies often include one killer who gets killed
If Oswald was a lone nut, why was he shot? That was a classic silencing. Ruby later said publicly the world would never know the story behind what he did and his motives. He said powerful people were involved, but he would say no more
Why does a father kill the man that raped his daughter?
Ruby killed the man that murdered our President. That isn't really difficult to figure out.
Whatever you are drinking, I’d like some :)
I am younger than you by about a decade.
Our upbringing was SUPER patriotic (Dad WWII USAAF vet) and we grew up on American history.
While other kids went to Disney world, our family went to Gettysburg and Williamsburg. We lived the history as explained by late father who was an NRA/Republican/Zionist Jew.
Today, I maintain that “growing up in the shadow” of WWII education by passing it down to my kids who all serve, served and are serving in the Israel Defense Forces.
So, we are not only studying History, we are living it!
Today’s generation do not appreciate the Freedom’s found in the greatest Democracy the world has ever known, America because since 1973, there’s been no draft...
1. “Oswald didnt have the authority to instruct the secret service crew to back away from the car so the shooter(s) could have a clear shot...”
2. “Or the authority to have the bubble top removed from the car, that was Bill Moyers.”
3. And Lee Harvey Oswald was not alive to have key witnesses killed after the fact.
There is no doubt there was a conspiracy to assassinate and to clean up after the event. It’s difficult to reach any other conclusion given the mounds of conflicting evidence.
While few of us have ever spent the time to do the research, there are a litany of dedicated unbiased researchers that have spent decades uncovering and studying JFK factoids and interviewing witnesses.
What has changed is the ability to forensically analyze previously accepted evidence. Some documentary and physical evidence has been completely discredited. And previously unavailable witnesses have added their testimonies before exiting this world.
Why were the Secret service motioned to get away from the car just prior to the shooting???
News to me.
I guess all will be revealed, except for the redacted parts, if and when the Files are made public.
I wonder if this is the same agent who ordered the others to back away from the car while they raised their hands in bewilderment from such a command...Obviously 'that' command wasn't pre planned by Kennedy...
