President Trump, give us the full story on the JFK assassination
Washington Post ^ | July 25 2017 | Larry J. Sabato and Philip Shenon

Later this year — unless President Trump intervenes — the American people will get access to the last of thousands of secret government files about a turning point in the nation’s history: the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The National Archives this week released several hundred of the documents, which come from CIA and FBI files, and of course, JFK researchers are scrambling to see whether they contain any new clues about the president’s murder. But many more documents remain under seal, awaiting release by this October, the 25-year deadline set by the 1992 Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act.

The law gives only one person — the president — the ability to stop the release from happening. He can act only if he certifies in writing that the documents would somehow endanger national security.

one mistress or one drug story and JFK would have lost in a landslide. Crawford squashed her death and that would have sunk both Kennedys she was way more popular than they were.

In 60 the mafia, the teamsters, and the UMW were behind them. He would have had a [very difficult time being re-elected.

Showtime made a bio flick Bonanno about Joseph Bonanno. He was in his 90s and retired to Arizona with the approval of the commission. He set his boys up as owners of Sacramento trucking Company legit business.

After the 2 hr 50 minute movie, they interviewed him. he said the mafia put out the hit because of the Kennedy brothers prosecuting them. He did say a shooter was in the sewer opening, but I think that part has been debunked.

Giancana was godfather in Chicago and he had LA and Dallas under this authority. That would have made a connection to Marcelo who has a lot of circumstantial evidence against him with meetings and RFK having his men snatch him off the street and dumping him in Guatemala after they lost the hearing to deport him.

Also, i have read that giancana was getting very upset and he told Johnny Roselli to go to Hyannisport and talk to Joe kennedy and have him remind his boys that the mob carried WV with the UMW and that defeated humprrey in the primaries and influenced votes in Chicago.

Roselli and another guy went and Joe said at christmas when they are here I will take to them. He had a major stroke before that and is is very likely that talk never occurred because he was incapacitated.

My money is on LBJ or the Mafia. LBJ had the most to gain and the hatred was well known. The mob didn’t usually hit public figures at high levels but the Kennedys were very strongly pursuing them.

The drugs ( Dr. Feelgood shot both Jack and Jackie up with a crazy concoction of different kinds of dope...sort of like what Hitler's doctor gave him ) would have done him in for sure!

OTOH...JFK had less than NO rapport with the Unions, especially the Steel Workers one, which is but one reason why is was NOT going to win re-election.

Reference to Oswald and Marcello.

Kennedy assassination[edit]

In its investigation of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the House Select Committee on Assassinations said that it recognized Jack Ruby’s murder of Lee Harvey Oswald as a primary reason to suspect organized crime as possibly having involvement in the assassination.[14] In its investigation, the HSCA noted the presence of “credible associations relating both Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby to figures having a relationship, albeit tenuous, with Marcello’s crime family or organization.”[14] Their report stated: “The committee found that Marcello had the motive, means and opportunity to have President John F. Kennedy assassinated, though it was unable to establish direct evidence of Marcello’s complicity.”[14]
Author John H. Davis in his 1989 book Mafia Kingfish: Carlos Marcello and the Assassination of John F. Kennedy implicates the mafia and Marcello in the assassination of Kennedy.[15] According to Davis, Oswald and Ruby had “strong ties” to Marcello, and that an Oswald impostor visited the Russian embassies in Cuba and Mexico.[15][16]

Attorney Frank Ragano said in his 1994 autobiography Mob Lawyer that he relayed a message from Hoffa to Marcello and Santo Trafficante, the Mafia boss of Florida, asking the two Mafia bosses if they would kill Kennedy.[17][18]
In his 2013 book The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination, Lamar Waldron states that Marcello masterminded the assassination of Kennedy.[19] Waldron said Marcello admitted his involvement to two other inmates during a fit of rage in the prison yard at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas.[19] According to Waldron, Marcello arranged for two hit men to carry out the assassination after entering the United States from Canada and Europe.[20]
In Bryce Zabel’s 2014 novel Surrounded by Enemies: A Breakpoint Novel, in an alternate universe where President Kennedy survived the assassination, but agent Clint Hill and Texas Governor John Connally were killed, President Kennedy talked to his brother Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, discussing suspects, including Marcello. Codenamed “New Orleans”, Marcello was said to have motive and resources to carry out the attack.

I was on the debate team at Pomona Catholic (now Damien) HS in La Verne CA. 16. The tourney was in Glendora and we had just beaten the number two team in soCal from Loyola. The announcement came on and we all went back to our schools. My school was run by Irish priests who worshipped the Kennedys. We all sat and watched TV on monitors on large stands. it was the first time i watched live TV in school. Every one was depressed. i couldn’t take my eye of the reports and we watched them all weekend until after the memorial.

No one I knew thought Oswald acted alone. When my father saw him being walked into the garage, he said anyone could shoot him in the front because the cops are all on the side and in the back. Three or four seconds later I saw the shooting and i just stared at my dad and he said, you learn a lot of things in the army during a war and one is you don’t believe what you see on TV. My dad believe that pitons death wa snot an accident. He thought he was being shut up about the Soviet union.

Our famity and friends were unanimous. The murder of Oswald was silencing job so that he could never get out the story of who was behind the shooting or prove his innocence. it was too much of a set ups and too coincidental t be anything else. i have learned in 70 years that your senses and experience and intuition outweigh a ,lot of what people say is “evidence.” i don;’t believe Oswald acted alone because I have witnesses history since 1963 and i wouldn’t trust the government or most poiticasn to hold my coat while I took a piss.

I recall the documentary. It was titled "JFK: Inside the Target Car." The recreation focused on wound ballistics and, in contradiction to the original conditions, used stationary targets, undistracted, expert marksmen with clear sight lines, and high quality, zeroed in rifles.

Plausibly, if Oswald was a better rifleman that is usually thought, he might have relied on his rifle's iron sights instead of its misaligned scope. Yet the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald brought his rifle to the Texas School Book Depository on the day of the assassination, disassembled and wrapped in brown paper.

Perhaps Oswald's rifle was zeroed in and brought to the Texas School Book Depository fully assembled. Yet that raises some uncomfortable questions about access to the building and hints at a possible conspiracy. Although unmentioned anywhere in the Warren Commission or its many volumes of hearings, the owner of the TSBD was Texas oil man D. H. Bird, an ally of LBJ and a notorious Kennedy hater.

Moreover, although not officially pursued, a definitive identification was made by an independent expert of the sole unidentified fingerprint found at the sniper's nest. It was found to be that of one Mac Wallace, an employee of a defense contractor owned by D. H. Bird. Wallace is believed to have been a hit man and has been implicated in several killings of potential witnesses against LBJ. Unlike Oswald, Wallace qualified as a Marine Corps marksman.

Then mafia got to the United Mine Workers in WV because they were wrapped up in stealing funds from the pension plan. was strategic for the first time i history because JFK pulled up to Humphrey and was gaining momentum.

I would add we damn sure know Hoffa and RFK weren’t best buds

Anyone who has stood in the window of the book depository knows the shot was very easy and that you could literally throw a rock and hit JFK from that very short distance.

“Not a chance. Not with that rifle and its PLASTIC scope and not unless he was another Flash.”

You could hit JFK with a rock from that VERY short distance.

Sorry, but the “impossible shot” was possible by anyone, even a 10 year old with a BB gun.

SPOT ON!

Papa Joe was comfy cozy/palsie walsie with the MOB ( so was Frank Sinatra, who was also, in the beginning JFK's BFF ), but RFK went after the MOB and JFK was clueless and had less than NO idea how to handle ANYTHING...which didn't sit well with the Mob nor any of the Unions!

Are we two the ONLY posters on this site, who knows this factual history? *sigh*

“As it was, Oswald was regarded as a poor shot by Marines and others who saw him shoot for target practice.”

Which is complete baloney according to his official Marine record.

besides, it wasn’t the “impossible shot” since it was handgun distance. Go stand in that window and tell us that is an impossible shot.

The Discovery channel completely reenacted the shooting, including Oswald’s escape. Not only did they get it perfectly right down to the bullet landing in McConnely’s lap, but the timing was not just plausible but predictable.

“paraffin test showed he had not fired a gun that day.”

Of which the FBI testified that even under laboratory tests in which they fired the same ammunition Oswald used the paraffin tests were unreliable and did not return a match for the labs tests.

The FBI stopped using the paraffin tests because they were proven unreliable.

“The actual evidence shows that the hit was planned and executed by the Mafia”

There is zero evidence that proves that. Jumping to a conclusion based on heresy and conjecture is not proving anything but what a feeble minded idiot the person was that made the conclusion.

“Your point about leaving actually proves he was NOT the killer. The actual killer would have stayed at work not drawing attention to himself”

That’s just your opinion. It is not fact. What you think someone else should do is not evidence.

I guess you’re one of those uneducated types that thinks if she hates pizza then it is a fact that pizza is bad, because she thinks so.

I don’t get that one. Giancana would seemed to benefit the most. But there was no induction he had pillow talk to use against JFK.
