07.31.17 Anthony Scaramucci RESIGNS as White House Communications Director Comes less than a week after hiring

JULY 31, 2017 Washington, DC (ABC/WBEN) Anthony Scaramucci resigns as White House Communications Director.

This comes the same day John Kelly was sworn in as Chief of Staff. Sources tell ABC Scaramucci resigned, asking to be redeployed at the Export Import Bank as chief strategy officer.

Scaramucci had not been on the job less than a week. It may be most memorable for an expletive-laden conversation with a New Yorker reporter that disparaged other members of the Trump team.

The only thing I’m clutching is hope for moving the country forward in the face of very significant challenges in a very dangerous world. In my experience chaos is not conducive to progress.

Please see my #72.

>> POTUS has run a business, and has hired and fired people for decades <<

Running a non-listed, family-controlled business is a bit different from presiding over the most powerful and one of the largest organizations in the world.

The better Pres. Trump understands that difference, the better our country’s fortunes will be.

If this is true, there is no way you can spin it as a good thing.

Better that the President can admit a mistake and make it right than double down on a bad decision.

But The Mooch wouldn’t still be calling himself WH communications Director

I’m not saying it didn’t happen. I’m just asking and taking a wait and see since these kind of things have been wrong before

Or he was fired. By Trump or Kelly. Or something.

But yeah, it looks like he is gone.

Anyone want to to re-challenge my statement the other day about too much sturm und drang in this administration?

Even if it is inevitable it makes Trump look like a bad people-picker and a general sense of chaos in the WH.

Scaramucci: “Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.”

About time...military style discipline, follow chain of command, talk when asked.

Gen. Kelly will clean up the place...watch him!

Funny thing - he did build and run an incredibly successful $10 BILLION business. He won the presidency - as an outsider, and against all odds ... Yet, in your “expert” opinion, he’s “inept.”

Rrrrright!

Let us know when you reach this level of “ineptitude.”

Then we’ll give you a serious listen.

Scaramucci’s estranged wife may be ready to air a load of dirty laundry on him.

IIRC, you were not exactly on the Trump train before he won the election. Am I wrong?

>> What the heck was trump thinking when he hired that liberal jerk? <<

He thought Scaramouche talked a good game and projected well on TV, just as did Monica Crowley, Gen. Flynn, K.T. MacFarland, Chris Christie, Sean Spicer and maybe others.

But maybe TV ain’t necessarily the same as real life.

Yep. What little I’ve followed about these folks being fired has caused me to ask why a guy has to fire so many people in such a short time. I mean, ANY guy. Yes, even Trump. Even if his name were Reagan or Lincoln.

Hope was a ship - and it sank. Do, or do not. There is no “try” - POTUS hires and fires at will, based on RESULTS.

I’ve no problem with this. But, perhaps you are more comfortable with the Jeb Bush methodology?
