House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Sunday said it is “unimportant” for Democrats to win the midterm elections in 2018.
During an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace asked Pelosi to estimate the chances that Democrats win back the lower chamber back in 2018 and whether she would run again for speaker if they did.
“That’s so unimportant. What is important is that we have the lively debate on a better deal,” Pelosi said.

If the GOP manages to hang on to every seat in the Senate and add four seats as well, they could overcome the RINO coalition.

I seem to recall the out party almost always picks up seats, but it can range from a lot to very few. please correct me if I am wrong.

Trump’s legacy will be determined by the 2018 mid-terms. He needs to rally his supporters to ensure a large enough Senate majority that quislings can be expelled, and the leadership be shaken to its core.
I want Pelosi, Maxine, and Hilliary to be the public/media face of the DemocRAT Party for the next 100 years.
That’s because some in the GOP are doing Pelosi’s dirty work for her.
She does have a point. The Dems don’t need to win the midterms. They have republicans like McCain, Grahamnesty, Murky Murkkow to do their work for them. So, it is unimportant for the Dems to win because the do-nothing republicans and republican-democrats will ensure that the democrat agenda is carried on.
