Trump’s ‘Amazing’ Success in Signing More Bills Than Any President in 50 Years
Breitbart ^ | 07/29/17 | Penny Starr

Posted on 07/30/2017 5:51:24 PM PDT by Enlightened1

President Donald Trump’s outgoing chief of staff Reince Priebus told Breitbart News Satuday SiriusXM host Raheem Kassam that the president’s “amazing” work during his first few months in office includes signing a record number of bills into law.

“I could tick of for an entire 10, 20 minutes that facts of what’s he’s accomplished and the amazing amount of work he’s done,” Priebus said.

“The amount of bills he’s signed are more than any president in the last 50 years,” Priebus said.

Priebus — whose departure from the White House was announced on Friday night — also said that Trump is making a huge impact on federal judgeships, with some 27 replaced since the president took office and — perhaps one of Trump’s biggest wins Priebus said — the seating of Neil Gorsuch on the U.S. Supreme Court.

Those judicial appointment will impact “our children and grandchildren for the good,” Priebus said.

He also said that a change in personnel at the White House will not distract the president and does not mean a shift away from the agenda Trump promised to pursue if elected.

“That Trump agenda — the policies that he stands for, that you all stand for — that’s not the shift in direction,” Priebus said of his being replaced this week by former head of the Department of Justice’s Homeland Security Chief John Kelly.

“It’s simply just a change and a reset and I think it’s great,” Priebus said.

You got to hand it to Priebus...looks like trump treated him well because he’s saying some pretty nice stuff.

It’s sick that whatever party in power brags about stacking an “independent” judiciary with loyalists.

We should elect Fed judges, and Fed DAs ourselves. Every three years.

Priebus cannot be trusted, so I am really curious what he has up his sleeve. He is being far to nice to Trump considering he just got booted.

IMHO I think the job grew to a point that Priebus could not properly handle it anymore. I think it was a good thing for everyone that he step down. Probably a relief for Priebus and a burden off of his shoulders.

I think he resigned immediately after the failed health care vote?

I.e. Not fired?

President Trump posted a very positive Twitter message about Preibus after the change was made. I suspect this was always intended to be a six-month "trial" appointment, and would be ended if the GOP Congress didn't come through with some key bills to advance Trump's agenda.

It's worth noting that you never hear anything bad about Trump from his former employees. This is such a consistently amazing thing that it's the stuff of legends.

If you watched the mess this morning play out with Scaramuccis attack dog like I did...you might think there was a reason he was keeping quiet.

It was quite a S### show..even tapper got involved. You can find it on twitter..last i looked...attack dog thought he was apologizing to priebus but it was a spoof email

Yes, you are right, but I think he didn’t have a choice, Kelly was named in his place just about simultaneously as he resigned. We have seen this before, Bet they gave him a choice he couldn’t refuse because they were going to give him the boot if he didn’t.

Shhhhhhh...you're supposed to be focusing on Russia and WH staff infighting, not how good of a job he's doing. He'll get reelected if those things are known and then where will the Democrats be?

Oh man, Stir the pot. I am still trying to figure out Scaramucci. He is a hothead and I’m not sure how this will turn out. But from what I have seen so far dropping the F bomb apparently helps drain the swamp. :)

I wonder if he has any “Family” ties? lol

Lewindowsky got the boot too. But, it was probably the golden boot because he still speaks up for DJT. So does the former press secretary.

Former capo of LCN who is now motivational speaker says scarmucci gives italians a bad name.

His divorce will be nasty. Probably try to get it sealed. May be why he shut down his attack dog for the moment over priebus.

I hope it’s all just common courtesy. But Priebus is like an unpredictable dog. He will turn on you and use whatever tool he has to. I saw this during the primaries. He does not work for the Republican party. The puppet masters pull his strings.

Priebus was between a rock and a hard place. It wasn’t Trump that did this. Congress turned their backs on Priebus leaving him no choice but to resign.

It’s the “Nice” way to get fired on the Hill. If you are like me, I have seen this method for decades now.

But you know what? I do think Trump is a nice guy and treated them right. But I also think he would be nice about giving them the “choice” also, not at all like on the show. :)
