Watching news outlets go out of their way to hide a potentially huge Democratic scandal is almost funny. So-called journalists are too busy covering presidential tweets to report on a topic that might embarrass their friends.
Welcome to the Imran Awan-Debbie Wasserman Schultz scandal or Compugrab, as I like to call it.
Awan was the top IT aide to Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. The FBI reportedly seized smashed computer hard drives from his home. He was arrested trying to flee to Pakistan after wiring almost $300,000 to the country, according to The Daily Caller, which has owned the story because it does actual news reporting.
Heres an amazing paragraph from the Caller: Awan and members of his family received $4 million from the Democratic congressmen they were working for since 2010. Wasserman Schultz has been especially uncooperative with the probe into her staffers and even threatened the Capitol Police chief for gathering evidence. She refused to fire Awan until after he was arrested, even though Capitol Police had already revoked Awans access to the congressional IT system in February in relation to a major security breach. ($4 million, and you wonder where your tax dollars go.)

The leftist media does not prosecute. Sessons takes this on.
Democratic Cong Debbie Wasserman Schultz apparently planned to steal tax dollars to pay her IT aide, Imran Awan, even while he was living in Pakistan.
Public statements and congressional payroll records also suggest D/W/S appears to have known that Imran's wife, a Congressional IT staffer, absconded months ago while she was a criminal suspect.
Six months of documented actions by D/W/S reveal her plans to continue using tax dollars to pay the shady Imran...an individual no longer working for the US govt, and no longer providing IT services to D/W/S.
Imran had longtime access to all of D/W/S computer files, work emails and personal emails, and the password to her laptop....at the same time D/W/S knew of Imram's shady bgrnd, and that recent court documents accused Imran of wiretapping and extortion.
D/W/S' records also raise questions WRT permitting Awan to continue to access US govt computers AFTER being banned back in Feb. Not only did D/W/S keep Imran on staff after his ban, but no replacement IT person was hired, according to her payroll records.
Wasserman Schultz refused to fire Imran and his wife even after U.S. Capitol Police said in February 2017 that they were targets of the criminal investigation.
Although not clinically braindead, D/W/S said police wouldnt show her evidence against the couple and, without it, she assumed they might be victims of anti-Muslim profiling.
Dementocrat Debbie does not fire Imran when everyone found out he falsified official documents and placed ghost employees on the payroll, billing salaries for people who did not work there.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz does not fire him after his criminal record became public.
Dementocrat Debbie does not fire him after security data breaches.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz does not fire him after he stole, illegally stored, and illegally destroyed US govt property, in violation of data and equipment laws.
She fires him AFTER he is pubicly arrested trying to flee the country having fleeced the Congressional Credit Union of thousands of tax dollars.

FYI-Official documents, court records and multiple interviews suggest the Awan crew may have engaged in government fraud, tax evasion, bank fraud, extortion, bankruptcy fraud and insurance fraud. More alarmingly, money (our tax dollars?) could have been funneled overseas.
Imran's brother, Abid Awan, has hired high-profile attorney James Bacon who specializes in money laundering litigation. (Excerpt) Read more at thegatewaypundit.com ..
