With Kelly replacing Priebus Gen. Mattis' Iraq clique (Kelly, Mattis, Dunford) now has ✓ White House ✓ DoD ✓ Joint Chiefs

Julian Assange‏ @JulianAssange 7h7 hours ago More If you can't fire them don't hire them. Trump can't fire any one of them without risking war with all 3--which he is in no position to do 52 replies 114 retweets 270 likes

Warrior Princess‏ @lionhardt77 7h7 hours ago More When you have the former DNI & NSA Dirs calling for a coup may be smart to surround yourself with Generals. Hope they're really on his side.

Julian Assange‏ @JulianAssange 7h7 hours ago More That is exactly what is happening.

Frankly, not certain they have a heart, cowardly or otherwise. They have never come down off their high horse to really study and examine them. Stethoscope please.

Palin a willing dupe? A dupe, yes, but I don’t think she was willing. I think that McCain wanted to be the nominee, but did not want the presidency. He knows that it comes with a lot of responsibilit, something that he has never accepted. I agree that McCain did ruin Palin’s political career.

Vince Flynn couldn’t make up anything better than what’s going on these days.

I would say the greatest power Trump has, is the power of God, as prayer warriors petition Him on his behalf.

Trump and Pence sent a very clear strong message on Day One...Inauguration Day...who took a stand with the President...sent to those who opposed him...both those in Congress and abroad......Our Military and our Police Officers....

You’re right about that, and such a thing did occur to me. What I thought was worldly power was given to Trump by God meanwhile the ultimate power is in God’s hand. As you state.

I pray for President Trump always. May God smite his enemies according to His will.

The Republicans are doing to Trump what the Democrats did to Carter.

Right now the Republicans are working with the Democrats to box Trump in. By keeping this ridiculous collusion theme going, as well as not approving the new FBI director, Trump is limited in what he can do.

The good thing is he is going out and talking to the people. The politicians may have Trump boxed in, but they cannot use anything the administration has succeeded at for their campaigns. What can Ryan run on?

I understand and appreciate your points. I don’t think we will get to a situation where the senate gets 67 votes to convict assuming there were an impeachment.

My recollection was the military voted heavily for Trump. Without a conviction, I don’t see them going against Trump due to some sort of incapacitated declaration. I hope the anti-Trump forces don’t go there.

I think sessions is a republican typical polite bipartisan wimp for recusing himself. He is lukewarm and a disappointment. Very similar to w whom we’d hoped for so long to put his royal flush on the table wicj he never did. It’s guys like sessions all talk then capitulating to the America destroying liberals including McCain and the other democrats posing as republicans that got trump elected. .

Don’t feel guilty for I feel the same. I ma be wrong but he will not be around after September 28. As for Lisa Murkowski & Susan Collins I immediately sense an injury like from a fall that will occur. Something will happen. God will remove them one by one from their position or from this Earth against anyone who try’s to harm the President or God’s agenda for this nation. They will fall like Dominoes.

Nope. And I think he’s doing some really remarkable things, but the nature of the indictment process is extremely secret, and takes a LONG time according to lawyers I’ve spoken to.

The very first indictment has to stick. It has to be airtight. Also, you need all your hits (mob style) to go down at the same time so no one runs or lawyers up too early.

No, they don’t even begin to have Trump boxed in. He is so powerful right now, it’s scary.

You may not think you’re seeing it, but that’s a fact, Jack.

Totally disagree. Trump’s been running a smokescreen of tweets, daytime soap opera job switches, etc trying (and succeeding) in keeping Sessions’ “untouchables”-like small squad of indictment-preparers working in secret off the radar.

I’ve spoken to lawyers who tell me this takes MONTHS, and the fewer you have (the better the secrecy) the longer it takes because of personnel.

Sessions is keeping up the facade with the MS-13 stuff, the Medicaid Fraud, but from everything I know, this is the smokescreen.

People here don’t want to hear that cuz they are invested in some fairy tale of a guy who comes out on Day One and arrests people. It doesn’t work like that. Any fed prosecutor will tell you.

Sobering to reflect that in 2008 our choice was between Obama and McCain. I’ve also thought that, painful as it was, it was probably better that Obama beat Romney.

Because all of this has given us Trump, a leader that comes along but once in the history of a nation.

A coup is already well in progress. Congress has delivered a veto-proof bill to the President that requires him to get congressional authorization to alter or remove any terms of the sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea. We now have Congress in charge of our foreign policy. That’s subordinating powers of the Executive branch to the Legislative branch.

Linda Graham is working on bipartisan legislation that will make it illegal for the President to fire a special counsel without judicial oversight. I expect it will pass. That’s subordinating powers of the Executive branch to the Judicial branch.

Trying to build a firewall against a coup may be like closing the barn door after the horses have escaped. We’ll see.

A “willing dupe” I said, because I was being kind. It’s worse.

I credited her with having at least as much intelligence as any Freeper. Who of us wasn’t already on to McCain, as a classic POS? Who of us would cheerfully agree to run on a ticket with this serpent, but for someone easily flattered into the job or clinically naive, or politically dumb as a rock?

He flew up there with a Kleenex box of flattery and faux humble neediness, and hooked her in less than 23 hours. She with a 5 month old with Downes Syndrome stupidly said “Yes, please”. Hit me again.

If you are talking about Sessions I agree with you, that making a good case takes time and should not be broadcasted. I don’t know for a fact that Sessions is doing anything or not, and I think if Sessions is doing his job no one else would know including the President, until he has his ducks in a row . Am I wrong? I will be flamed on this forum for even saying such a thing.
