President Donald Trump's desicion to appoint Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly as White House chief of staff on Friday will be a "game changer" and will allow the White House to "become more orderly and disciplined," Former Speaker Newt Gingrich. R-Ga., wrote in a Fox News Op-Ed.
"I predict the White House will become more orderly and disciplined with clear lines of authority, serious planning and strong teamwork," Gingrich wrote Friday evening.
"The person who may benefit most from this change is President Trump. He has worked with many smart, successful people in his remarkable career, but he has never worked this closely with someone as used to command, organization and dignified insistence on teamwork as Secretary Kelly." Ginrich said.
Gingrich recalled first meeting the four-star Marine general when he was speaker of the House and said, "he was the best liaison officer I have worked with in any service.

Damn good pick.
Always like to hear Gingrich input. He’s experienced and wise.
I think the A Team is coming in.
The JV team is sorely in need of replacement. Such a shame to waste 6 months in tidying up the office when this time could be used to MAGA. You are either with US or against US. Which is it, congress, d’rats, pubbies?
Trump gave the GOPe a chance and they stabbed him. What a bunch of corrupt bastards they are.
Hopefully this will be a turning point.
I hope Kelly dismantles what’s left of the uniparty’s DC.
Surely, we are not the only two who wish to see heads roll. They made their point - now it is PDJTs turn to make HIS. He has the power to do so - per VP Pence. MAKE congress use the same insurance they force on US.
A bunch of rotten bananas...traveling with deadly spiders.
McCain is no more than a slippery peel.
It’s really stunning to see that McCain, facing a death sentence, is using his remaining time to be a vindictive turncoat. That sure doesn’t say anything good about McCain and in my mind supports Trump’s comments about him - “I like people who weren’t captured”. Although that was a bit off the point the issue with McCain himself turned out to be absolutely correct.
Even worse - the fact the party GAVE this little man the nomination for office at one time. Another Shi+Sandwich that WTP had to choke down and swallow.
I voted for PALIN, NOT McCain. If not for her, the front door would have remained closed and locked. The gas used to/from voting booth, saved for more important appointments.
“Only the good die young”. McCain is how old now?
Like the time he was so wise he sat on a couch with Pelosi making a Climate Change ad.
General/Secretary/Chief of staff John Kelly is famous for “kicking a$$ and taking down names”, as the old phrase goes. He does it with a certain sense of decorum and judicious application, but for the recipient of this attention, it is just as painful. And effective.
Here’s to much more of the same.
All these congressional/elite people have their picture taken together. They are still two individuals.
Why don’t you watch the ad on YouTube? Much more than a picture together. Quote: “we do agree our country must take actions to address climate change”.
He caused irreparable damage to our economy and political landscape by making that ad.
I voted for Sarah also. I’ll never forget McCain saying during the campaign “you have nothing to fear from a President Obama”. I wonder if McCain would have been any better than Obama....maybe not much.
We are at war...this seems totally appropriate.
Go troll somewhere else. Newt Gingrich is undeniably one of the wisest and experienced men on the planet and I will stop to listen to him whenever possible. He is subject to mistakes like all of us (except apparently you), but until the day I walk a day in his shoes I’ll just be grateful he is on my side.
Even wise people make mistakes. Gingrich later admitted that this was a huge error.
