Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said "it is time to move on" in a floor speech early Friday after the stunning defeat of the GOP's scaled-down plan to repeal key parts of ObamaCare.
McConnell seemed close to choking up during brief remarks on the floor after falling short of his promise to repeal ObamaCare after three GOP senators voted against the "skinny" repeal bill.
McConnell called GOP efforts to repeal ObamaCare "the right thing for the country," despite their final efforts to push for repeal being unsuccessful.

After the first vote failure, then the 2nd, didn’t POTUS indicate that perhaps o’care should wither on the vine? It should. Very few understand that was designed to fail. And when it fails it will be stop gap measure after stop gap measure... and then perhaps realization will slip in with the fog.

So every new “bill” is kabuki right? Have they even put out a straight repeal vote in 2017? It is telling that they don’t even try it now that the GOP controls everything and they did it in 2015 when Obama was in office. This tells me the GOP-e WANTS Obamacare, not for them but for us.
Healthshare programs are the way to go until sanity returns to Congress.
