McCain is a very petty and vain person as those in the Pentagon having to deal with him have long known.
For him, this vote is straight-up payback to Trump as was McCain’s role in the phony Steele dossier. Had nothing to do with healthcare policy.
I met the man in 2005. Horrible guy. I voted for him in 2008, but not in the Primaries. He was just such a horrible person in real life.
I have the maturity and experience to know that a man can be one thing in his youth and quite another in his later years. There are few people I consider less honorable, and few people I care less for, than John McCain.
I 2nd the sentiment
In the sunset of his life ,he proves himself to be the coward and the traitor we have always heard whispered about , how he may have ‘played ball’ with the North Vietnamese , so long ago .
One day , that truth too will come out .
Don’t forget that McCain also worked hard to stick it to Bush in 2001 when it came to the tax cuts.
