Fearing that President Donald Trump could short-circuit the investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 elections, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., plans to introduce legislation to block any such action.

Graham said the bill he will introduce next week will block the president from firing a special counsel without a federal judge’s approval if that counsel is investigating the president or his administration.

Graham said, “We need a check and balance here,” and that the bill will apply to Trump as well as to all future presidents.

Many incumbents will need to be shown the door in 18, 20, and 22.

Linda doesn’t understand the constitution too well. What’s wrong with SC voters?

Linda fears nothing since his “friend” mclame came back on Monday. They really think they rule the roost.

So these guys are rewriting the Constitution? That’s not their place. If they would keep their noses out of the Presidents business and try to actually do their jobs the country might even get insurance reform.

How about a bill that allows Trump to fire senators and congressman.

I BET, with Dem support, Graham could get a veto proof majority on a bill like this. Too many people did not hear our voices in November. I hope all who are obstructing from our side, are primaried before their next election.

Unless some drastic changes occur, I will not vote for any republican in the primaries that has “incumbent” next to their name...

First we have rogue judges that think they were appointed to do the work of the legislation, and now we have legislators that think they were voted in to do the work of the executive branch.

Can’t we somehow make it a requirement that these jags finish a course on the U. S. Constitution and get at least a B grade?

Sheesh!!!!

One thing for sure , if Linda does introduces a bill to that affect, it will be met with overwhelming approval by the voters of South Carolina. Because Lindsey[nee]Linda Graham is loved and adored by them. As evidenced him being returned to the Senate time after time.

What a piece of cr@p Linda is. I will do what I can to see his sorry ass defeated the next time around.

Graham is a moron!

The legislation would violate the separation of powers.

It would be like Trump issuing an executive order controlling senate staffing.

Can Trump issue an executive order telling all his administration to ignore any letter or request from Linda Graham? If the Senate won’t act on his agenda and appointments, why should he even listen to them on anything?

What’s amazing, too, is that these Republicans in Congress don’t even seem to have ANY finger on the pulse of the people, who are obviously and firmly still behind Trump.

Do these pathetic losers think we’re so desperate that we’re going to vote for them instead of the RATS the next time around? News at 11:00 - we’re NOT (well, at least I’m not!).

We really need a third party NOW. Let’s call it the Trump party (hey, he’d like that!) and bury both the Republican and Democrat parties in the dustheap of history. Neither of them has done ANYTHING except sell out the American voter for decades and I don’t have any use for any of them.

And... special note to John McCain, I want my vote back, you dirtbag.
