WASHINGTONPresident Donald Trumps newly appointed communications director publicly acknowledged his power struggle with the White House chief of staff and said their differences may be too wide to bridge.
Anthony Scaramucci, who joined the White House last week and reports directly to the president rather than to the chief of staff, as is customary, said in a CNN interview that he and Chief of Staff Reince Priebus have been at odds
We have had differences. When I said we were brothers from the podium, thats because were rough on each other, he said, referring to a comment he made last week. Some brothers are like Cain and Abel. Other brothers can fight with each other and get along. He continued: I dont know if this is reparable or not, that will be up to the president.

Mooch talks to much and does not enough

As RNC chief, Priebus provided the network and workers for the Trump campaign.
I understand that, but given that Trump wasn't exactly a GOP establishment candidate, it doesn't make sense to hire somebody as your chief-of-staff when their loyalties lay elsewhere.

Newt may be too old for that position, and I'm not sure he's at a stage in his life when he would want to be under all that pressure in a Trump administration.
Oddly enough, this Scaramucci guy might be a good fit for that role just on personality alone. I do think you need someone with a solid relationship with Congress in that role, though.

Will there be Trump fatigue? Never. Trump's biggest problem now is that if this lets up at all, his supporters are going to lose interest out of boredom. LOL.

I thought the same thing. Totally staged.

Scaramucci was a bad appointment. He is a NY liberal who comes from the rough and tumble of the hedge fund jungle. He has the kind of personality that will try to destroy anyone whom he views as a threat to his perceived status as the guy closest to the President. He has to be number one.
Scaramucci will add to the disarray and polarization of the WH staff.

This is the kind of personality Trump wants. He also wants it for the AG.
Scaramucci is gunning for CoS. He will be a disaster.
But it sure will be entertaining.
I actually laughed at the clip of Colbert I saw online talking about Mooch stabbing people from the front.

If Trump really was bothered by SNL’s satire of Sean Spicer, the president aint seen nothing yet! Scaramuc will be so, SO easy to satirize it’s unreal. He’s already like a parody of a caricature of a stereotype. I guaran-damn-TEE you SNL and others are preparing someone to imitate this guy. Why wouldn’t they?
So what happens then? Will President Trump want to ease this guy gently into the dark shadows too? Scaramucci is not one to stay in the shadows when given a choice.
Maybe it’s the short-guy syndrome, I don’t know, but he thrives on sustained attention.

The President likes to reward people who have helped him. Priebus was a lot of help, the President said so numerous times, so he gave him a job befitting his position in the campaign. At least, that’s my take on it.

Next critical phase is to primary most of Congress, and the filing for office starts soon. If people are amused by the press shop wars - I’m starting to be - wait’ll the re-election fur starts flying. Imagine Tony holding daily pressers explaining why these Senators and these house members are being targeted via primary by POTUS.
