Why Did Minneapolis Police Search Justine Damond's Home After They Killed Her?
Daily Caller ^ | July 26, 2017 | Jim Treacher

Posted on 07/27/2017 8:57:03 AM PDT by Zakeet

KSTP, Minneapolis/St. Paul: Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension investigators were granted permission to search Justine Damond’s home hours after she was shot and killed by a Minneapolis police officer, according to court records ...

"I don’t understand why they’re looking for bodily fluids inside her home," said Joseph Daly, an emeritus professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, referring to one of two recently-released search warrant applications.

"Whose bodily fluids are they looking for? Is she a suspect? I don't understand why they're looking for controlled substances inside her home. I don’t understand why they’re looking for writings inside her home. The warrant does not explain that to me."

A cynical mind might assume that the police, having just killed an unarmed, pajama-clad woman right outside her home after she called 911 to report a possible rape, were searching her house to find something they could use to claim it was justified. Presumably they didn't find anything, or we would've heard about it by now.

Here's another question: Why is Mohamed Noor still getting a paycheck? The chief of police has already been ousted over this, but Noor is still on "paid leave," AKA taxpayer-funded vacation. Good work if you can get it.

Better question is where did the police get the probable cause to search?

The cops are likely looking for dope.
Something they can claim contributed to her late night call...

And, if they can’t find any, they’ll plant it.

Another good question: Did they ever investigate the original cause for the police call? That is, why was some woman screaming, who was it, where was it coming from?

Cops were looking for something to cover their posteriors with.

It was a straight-up character assassination op. If they found anything they could use to minimize the value of the life of the deceased, you bet your bottom dollar they’re preparing to use it.

That is a very good question. I would love to see the affidavit that supported the issuance of the search warrant.

Wasn’t the original call about a sexual assault though? Perhaps they were looking for evidence of a rape is all. Did they release the 911 call yet?

What judge granted them the warrant? And upon what probable cause?

To find anything that might say, hey, she was a bad person. Looking for justification.

We have not heard anything from Crazy Mohamed Noor's partner likely because he is still in shock over having a bullet pass 1" from his heart *and* being rendered deaf.

I know cops are dumb and can’t “analyze addresses” but she claimed the rape was occurring in the alley near where she was living. She never said a rape was taking place inside her home.

Exactly, what is the probable cause, it appears to be she slapped the Cop Car:

Justine Damond shooting: search warrant says ‘female’ slapped squad car

http://www.smh.com.au/world/justine-damond-shooting-search-warrant-says-female-slapped-squad-car-20170725-gxif3f.html

Interesting. Did she slap the car in her residence such that this search would be almost proper?

They searched her home to find something ....anything.... they could use to lay blame on her and not on the muslim who killed a white woman.

3rd world corrupt city government and police department.

There will be no justice, bank on it.

Do not call the police, do not talk to the police unless legally detained & in the presence of your lawyer and on his instructions. Do not give police permission to come on to your property. Keep your head down and protect yourself.

Courts have ruled the police are under NO obligation to protect you. Their job is to charge someone *after* a crime has been committed. You will do just fine.

Why did they do it? Simple. They were hoping that they'd find something....drugs,illegal entry,etc,etc...that they could use to keep the public off the scent that this incident was,in fact, jihad.
