When my name was thrown out there for US Senate (Kid Rock Statement)
Kid Rock ^ | Jul 26, 17 | Kid Rock

Posted on 07/26/2017 11:16:28 PM PDT by LesbianThespianGymnasticMidget

When my name was thrown out there for US Senate I decided to launch kidrockforsenate.com. I was beyond overwhelmed with the response I received from community leaders, D.C. pundits, and blue-collar folks that are just simply tired of the extreme left and right bullshit. As part of the excitement surrounding this possible campaign, I decided to take a hard look to see if there was real support for me as a candidate and my message or if it was just because it was a fresh new news story. The one thing I've seen over and over is that although people are unhappy with the government, too few are even registered to vote or do anything about it. We have over a year left until an actual election, so my first order of business is to get people engaged and registered to vote while continuing to put out my ideas on ways to help working class people in Michigan and America all while still calling out these jackass lawyers who call themselves politicians.

During this time while exploring my candidacy for US Senate, I am creating a 501(c)(4) - a non-profit organization for the promotion of voter registration. Not only can I raise money for this critical cause, but I can help get people registered to vote at my shows. Since the announcement, the media has speculated this was a ploy to sell shirts or promote something. I can tell you, I have no problem selling Kid Rock shirts and yes, I absolutely will use this media circus to sell/promote whatever I damn well please (many other politicians are doing the same thing, they just feed you a bunch of bullshit about it). But either way, money raised at this time through the sale of merchandise associated with this very possible campaign will go towards our 'register to vote' efforts.

One thing is for sure though…The democrats are 'shattin’ in their pantaloons' right now…and rightfully so!

We will be scheduling a press conference in the next 6 weeks or so to address this issue amongst others, and if I decide to throw my hat in the ring for US Senate, believe me… it’s game on mthrfkers. -- Kid Rock

I am originally from Michigan.

I was back there for the election, as was one of 10 thousand or so votes, which won the state for Trump.

I heard about Kid Rock a long time ago, from a young lady I really liked. Hadn’t heard much more about the guy, since then, now I’m pretty happy to hear he’s from Michigan.

Hope he runs. I’m sure he will do quite well.

He’s in that section of the market, which neither party has been very concerned with for the last entire generation.

Go Kid Rock.

Yes, let’s get some more plain speaking Americans instead of lawyers.

One really big problem with lawyers in congress is that they are too ready to bend to the whims of unelected progressive judges instead of impeaching them.

I’m laughing at his candor as well, but I’m starting to think he’s not seriously considering a run.
Signs that he is really digging in and laying the groundwork will be after he starts using his real name,
after he (occasionally) takes the hat and dark shades off while being interviewed. It still seems as though he’s hiding behind a well known stage presence, because he is not
ready, not sure enough to go without it. Some other entertainers perform that way too, in varying degrees of concealment.

Sia, the Australian singer usually never performs without that white mushroom of a wig which covers her eyes.
Robert Smith, lead singer for The Cure will use stage make up to resemble some sort of Goth-Zombie-Kabuki character.
Lady Gaga has only recently began performing while looking somewhat normal, vs an over gilded-over sexed Space Oddity.

Easy solution. Change his legal name to Kid Rock. Allows him to keep everything.

In today’s world, changing his name is not at all out of the question. I guess I want someone in a leadership position who is comfortable acting as and being seen as an adult, at least some of the time. This vs a 46 y/o who still calls himself ‘Kid’.
Maybe that sort of standard doesn’t matter to the majority any more.

I’m fine with it. He’ll probably be a better vote than Olympia snowe or Lisa murkowski. And he definitely would be better than democrat Stabenow.

Lee, honestly I would not care if his name was "Boaty Mc Boat Face" as long as he helped drain the swamp. I mean by God, what have the stuffy jackassery in DC gotten us? 20 Trillion in debt, Militarized police, corrupt as hell departments, Ocare, etc. I want smashmouth people to fix this.

It has gotten to the point that any one that is not “one of them” is the best option. And by one of them I mean any person that has earned his living thru politics at any time at any level.

Now there will be those that come along and say “not qualified” or “no experience” and to that I say what has “qualified” and “experience” gotten you thus far.........
