New Brunswick — Rutgers University requires freshmen to pay for their own microaggression training as part of the $175 New Student Orientation program.
During orientation, students are required to attend a one-hour “Language Matters” workshop, during which they will learn about “microaggressions” and “the big impact of ‘the little things.’”

The workshop will be based on a PowerPoint presentation, which explains that microaggressions are hurtful and that students should take caution to prevent committing them. Citing Dr. Derald Wing Sue, the architect behind microaggression theory, Rutgers tells students that microaggressions are “brief and commonplace” remarks that “whether intentional or unintentional” could hurt someone else’s feelings based off their affiliation with a marginalized group.
The school acknowledges that microaggressions are “not the same as hate crimes or overt bigotry,” but asserts that such unintentional slights can still “make an impact” on students, even declaring that the workshop is not “making a big deal out of nothing” because “[a]ctually, it is a big deal and it goes deeper than just words.”

What the heck is actually a micro aggression in these fools’ mind.
It should be a simple course
1) Absolutely ANYTHING you do or say can be considered a microagression (even a sincere compliment)
2) Stay away from anyone not like you or you WILL be accused of microagressions at some point in your time at Rutgers
3) Here is a list of possible punishments if/when you are accused. Here are some sample apology letters you can choose from and a list of other actions you may pro-actively take for atonement. Proper atonement may ease the punishment the university chooses to give you if a team of SJWs considers it to look sincere.
4) Stating disagreeing with any of the previous material is a microaggression and may rise to the level of all-out-aggression. As part of our dedication to openness, debate, and disagreement, we are happy to allow you to disagree, as long as you keep it to yourself. Even discussing your disagreement with others who agree with you will result in immediate punishment if overheard by the teams of SJWs roaming the campus.
5) Being an SJW yourself does not excuse you from punishments. We eat our own so you should pick an SJW team that looks like you and agrees with you on every issue.

If I were hiring someone, and I saw they had paid to take a class on Microagression, they’d be out of the running. I wouldn’t want some PC a$$hole like that working for me.
Yes, by all means, protect the snowflakes, and pay for learning how to do it. But, forget about the multicultural abuses that will be hurled at you by professors and classmates if you are a Liberty & free speech loving Conservative trying to live by devout Christian principles and not believing modern sexual morality is moral.
Sounds like what the Chinese Commies do, make the victims of their firing squads pay for the bullets they use to kill them.Or even worse pay the Government for being forced to go to a reeducation camp.
The husband is an alumnus. He graduated back in the days when it was all male and had excellent standards, and he is appalled at what it has become.
Some white students should file a civil rights lawsuit charging that the university is creating a hostile environment for them. Pay them back in their own coin!
Would kicking the asses of all the liberals on campus be considered a macro-aggression?
Just imagine how these young people would do under the eye of a drill sergeant in basic training, like so many young men before them have done.
There would by guys pissing their pants at the "micro-aggressions" coming from the drill instructor.

My father is a graduate of Rutgers. We were living in Newark at the time. He was working at Bell Labs in NYC and taking night courses. He would get home late, books and typewriter going on the dining room table.
