Al Gore Humiliation: NASA Study Confirms Sea Levels Are FALLING
thegatewaypundit ^ | Joshua Caplan

When we look back on this period of history, we’ll say climate change was one of the greatest hoaxes. Politician-turned-environmental activist, Al Gore has become wealthy beyond his wildest dreams (and intelligence) thanks to pushing the “big lie.”

A new study from NASA confirms sea levels are falling — not rising.

iceagenow.info reports:

NASA satellite sea level observations for the past 24 years show that – on average – sea levels have been rising 3.4 millimeters per year. That’s 0.134 inches, about the thickness of a dime and a nickel stacked together, per year.

As I said, that’s the average. But when you focus in on 2016 and 2017, you get a different picture.

Sea levels fell in 2016, and with all of this winter’s record-breaking snowfall, I wouldn’t be surprised if they decline again this year.

I clicked and zoomed on the above chart as NASA suggested, and obtained a closeup screen shot of sea levels from Jan 2016 to March 2017. This clearly shows the decline.

The very worst part about this is that the people who bought into the lie just cannot let it go. Totally unwilling to accept they’ve been duped, they cling to it because it is a HUGE cudgel. Control freaks.

-- they cling to it because it is a HUGE cudgel --

The rank and file isn't powerful enough to wield it as a cudgel. What is going on is the very pedestrian "confirmation bias" and refusal to admit having held an erroneous belief, "saving face." The number true believers who are followers is vastly greater than the number of leaders. 10 thousand to one, at least.

I think what’s happening is that global warming is causing earthquakes under the ocean, which sucks the water down into the earth’s center, where it’s going to become pressurized steam which will in turn blow the entire earth to pieces at some point if we don’t impoverish and destroy Western civilization.

Al Gore knows the truth.
Why else would he be building a huge new mansion on ocean beach front property?

An 18 month trend, compared to over 20 years previously, is hardly a valid comparison, and I’m convinced the term “climate change” was invented because “global warming” could no longer be sustained.

Well that's a fraction of a mm down, and 80mm up so far since the 90s. If you count from the 1850s, that's 300mm, what does it mean? Regardless of how you feel about the source being manmade pollution, bad science in top of bad science is not the way to go. Nothing about being a conservative means we can ignore real data.
Unflinching we look at the data, and conclude mankind maybe is just a speck in the planet, and unlike many Liberals, we know we are not so powerful as to stop sea rise by another government program.

it’s going to become pressurized steam which will in turn blow the entire earth to pieces...

Or, what I fear most, the earth itself will capsize and flip over.

The top book is available from Amazon for $0.99 on Kindle. The bottom book is $9.99.

I’ve already purchased the top book. The bottom one looks interesting, too, but I’ll probably wait on it.

If you travel in Florida, and probably anywhere along a coastline, you will stop in restaurants and hotels and see photos from the teens, twenties and thirties of the buildings beside the beach. The beach and the buildings are still, except for tides, of course, in the same relative positions.

I read this years ago. There are three factors determining whether the Earth is in an Ice Age. The amount of solar radiation, the tilt of the Earth’s axis, and the Atlantic crossover point of the Gulf Stream (lower latitude means less heat to Greenland and leads to an ice age.) (I think there is another factor but can’t recall it now.)

The amount of solar radiation and the current axis tilt would indicate we are currently in an ice age. However, the Gulf Stream goes much farther north than it has in other ice ages and it is keeping the Earth from experiencing an ice age. This has been going on for about 10,000 years. (Again, I am recalling this 10k number and haven’t researched it recently.) That means that the bulk of civilized human existence and the entirety of Western Civilization, has taken place in an unusual warm patch when you look at the weather on the long, long term.

We are much more likely to go back into an ice age than to experience global warming.

The entrance to the Cosquer cave paintings in France is approximately 115 feet below water level.
