Sometimes with the Dems I feel like I'm talking to children. Yes, jobs are very important to the working class. That would be the "working" part of that, yes? They don't want welfare, because they're the working class. They want work. And they don't want to be told "You didn't build that" when they did. And they don't want to be told they're privileged because they sweated for everything they've got. And they don't want to be told their country isn't great because it is.
And then we get idiot questions such as "What could Trump's appeal possibly be? What? What?" You just have to shake your head and wonder what planet the media are from, because it certainly isn't this one.
Donald, PLEASE get the illegals the hell out of Florida, their disrespect for American citizens and disgusting habits in the sanctuary cities are killing us. We didn’t work all our lives only to be given the finger every day by invading hordes who live next to us and enjoy harming us because no one will stop them or enforce the laws on the books. They will NEVER share our values.
Well said.
Wow. How bad is it when a billionaire real estate tycoon connects with the working class and the media can’t? How out of touch can anyone be before that happens?
Long ago, those in the press could sympathize with the middle class because the press was the middle class. The press was on the outside; an observer of the power class. Think of someone like Mike Royko of the Chicago Tribune.
Now, many in the MSM are a part of the power class. They’re the insiders. They’re ranch-raised in D.C. and have no idea what it’s like to work a middle class job and struggle to make ends meet. They look down on those in the middle class with contempt and have no sympathy for them. They are now part of the elites.
All excellent points! Send or tweet that post to all MSM and the DNC. On second thought, don’t clue in the Dems; let them continue down the path they’re comfortable with and they’ll continue losing.
——and the media can’t?-—
It goes deeper than that, much deeper. Imagine Nancy Pelosi on that stage. She constantly utters blather about the working class, jobs and such.
She has few takers.
“Wow. How bad is it when a billionaire real estate tycoon connects with the working class and the media can’t?”
Donalds dad didn’t let him skate by on the wealth created by his father and grandfather.
Young Donald had to WORK during his summer breaks.
He spent his summers rubbing elbows with the working class. He worked at everything from floor sweeper to heavy equipment operator.
He might have gone home each evening to the height of luxury but he spent each day sweating under the same workload and the same sun as the hourly worker who went to a simple place he called home.
Moreover, young Donald LISTENED and heard the frustrations of the men he worked beside as well as their hopes and dreams.
That is how he can connect with us “little people”, he has seen our world up close and personally.
The perfumed princes of the MSM?
Not so much.
