they say they will not do GPS tracking of people. They say it’s voluntary. But what happens, if they do decide to do GPS tracking, and make it mandatory to have a chip as a condition of employment????
Technology is taking us to some places we would rather not go, in my opinion.
We’ve already lost a lot of financial privacy, due to how many people use debit and credit cards, and pay bills online. People going shopping and using actual cash, currency and coin, has been declining.
Electronic medical records are an area which has caused loss of privacy of medical information.
I know that there are laws and regulations in place to ensure that the wrong people don’t get access to your information, and/or to prevent fishing expeditions through your electronic files. But as technology advances, it will be harder and harder to keep private information truly private.
Riiiiiiiiiiiight.

How about “chipping” any illegal who is granted some time before having to appear before an immigration judge? Catch, chip and release!
They CAN’T do GPS tracking, it’s just a RFID.
1. I don't believe them. Just because they don't "do tracking" doesn't mean there isn't GPS in it that can be activated at any time.
2. Even if it isn't GPSing employees, it's providing way too much information.
3. Anything that starts small is just opening the door. The Brave New World will microchip everyone....GPS, financial transactions, who you're associating with, keys, travel, time spent at any location.....
Scary stuff. We're almost there.
People should get more familiar with the capabilities of data collection of the little black boxes some insurance carriers plug into the vehicle’s data port to track the client’s mileage for a discount.
Even though the insurance companies don’t utilize the tracking data, the data exists nonetheless.
Furthermore, thieves have figured out how to amplify the signals from keyless entry fobs for vehicles as well, so as to open cars while the owner is in bed with their keys on the night stand. I also have a client whose Harley was stolen while he was on a rest stop shitter (he didn’t lock his steering).
Given what is known about Stingray, this is but another slippery slope to track each and every one of us.
