Incredible new video out of Fresno was shot when a masked robber used a fake gun and a knife to threaten a Starbucks clerk.
It happened on Thursday.
Fifty-eight-year-old customer Cregg Jerri grabbed a chair, walked up behind the robber and smashed it over his head.
The two started fighting, according to investigators.
Jerri was stabbed in the neck during the struggle but managed to wrestle away the knife and stab the robber several times.
It was incredibly heroic and the way most people would think that they would respond but may not have the courage to respond, said Chief Jerry Dyer of the Fresno Police Department.
After the fight the robber took off. He didnt get far, though, and was later arrested.

There is video of the incident at the link.
The guy who saved the Starbucks should get free $5 burnt coffee for life. Haha!

Guess they need to outlaw chairs in CA.

If the employer had fought back, no doubt she would have been fired.

There is coffee and there is coffee! You'd think that there would be some sort of mechanical device that emits other material that would have stopped him in his tracks without having to suffer knife wounds.

No more than 4 legs on any chair and a 10 day waiting requirement?

I’m trying to figure from the headline whether the robber or the customer had the chair that was caught in the tape. That must have been some strong tape.

Notice how the pussy snowflake Starfux employees rushed in to assist the guy? Maybe it took them too long to find their little outline cards so they could lecture him on his “white privileged” for foiling the robbery.

The first rule of the knife fight is that “you will be cut”.

No one needs a chair with 4 legs. In fact, I consider such chairs to be assault chairs. Light chairs like the one below should do just fine.

I agree. I saw the video on TV news early this morning. The looked like it had little if any effect on the perp. No way I would have done anything unless I had a baseball bat or a full steaming pot of coffee close at hand.

Imagine the horror if the guy with the chair was wearing a MAGA hat!!!
To: Chainmail
Not when you have a mechanical device that emits some metallic material extremely fast and totally ruins their day.

He should watch more wrestling. You grab the chair by the legs and hit him with the back on the head. Then when he turns around you it him again in the face. WWE moves can help you.
