"...black women had the highest rate of dying by homicide (4.4 per 100,000), followed by American Indian/Alaska Native women (4.3 per 100,000), Hispanic women (1.8 per 100,000),
white women (1.5 per 100,000), and Asian/Pacific Islander women (1.2 per 100,000).
White privilege rears its ugly head again.

That looks like a Sig-Sauer P220. Not a cheap gun to customize.

I quit trusting studies when an ipcc scientist said the Himalayas would melt by 2035.

Did the CDC do a study on U.S. men killed by wives, girlfriends, exes? No? Wonder why not.

This was consistent across all racial and ethnic groups, and really highlights that intimate partner violence is a public health problemHey, we wouldn't want to consider husbands and wives spend more time with each other and are together for many more years than with anyone else. Murder by unknown strangers is way down at the bottom of the list.

Sad...but not surprising. In a nation full of OJ Simpsons a woman who's getting any kind of child support...or who wants any kind of custody of her kids...or decides to get a boyfriend...is fair game.

Wonder if they considered any of the heifers that slice & dice (and sometimes behead) their lesbian ex’s after the homosexual relationship goes south?
Probably not since guns aren’t involved and it removes the premise that men are all evil.

"This was consistent across all racial and ethnic groups, and really highlights that intimate partner violence is a public health problem..." No,it's not a "public health" problem...it's a crime and punishment problem. If you kill somebody in this country (including your wife/ex) you should expect to take the hot squat. That'll cut down on cr@p like that.

> And how many of the murderers had a “right” to own or possess the firearm? Inquiring minds want to know.
While the 2nd Amendment exists, the answer is “all of them, no matter what the opinion of any government may be”.

Narcissism, not chauvinism, is killing the fornicators.

Conclussion: Most women murdered in the United States die at the hands of a current or former intimate partner, a new federal study reports.
"Facts used to support conclusion: In a review of female homicide statistics from 2003 to 2014 in 18 states, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that domestic violence was involved in about 55 percent of the deaths of 10,018 women.
So, this study was taken in 18 of 50 states. Only 36% of the states.
From 2003 to 2014 there were ONLY 10,018 women killed???
No cherry picking going on here.
