President Donald Trump told The New York Times Wednesday that it would be improper for special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate his family’s finances in a manner not related to the probe into Russian election interference.
Mueller, a registered Republican, has hired at least seven Democratic donors to join his investigative team, including one attorney who donated roughly $34,000 to federal Democratic candidates.
Trump has previously called this hiring practice “ridiculous,” and was asked by the Times whether he would ever order the Justice Department to fire Mueller. He said he would not do so, but he did say that Mueller would cross a red line by opening a broad investigation into his family’s finances unrelated to the Russia investigation.
“I think that’s a violation. Look, this is about Russia,” Trump said.

Mueller is out of control and the DOJ is NOT doing its job in controlling this investigation. Trump making a mistake letting this go on.

Mueller must go ASAP.....but Trump needs to get Sessions to do the firing.
Mueller has already fired back, intentionally. It’s time to blow this mess up, but first, DJT should begin to expose Mueller, Comey and the Obama/Hillary donors that have been hired to criminalize his presidency. Then, after that, lower the hammer.
I thin the warning shot he fired across Sessions’ bow was just a prelude to bigger and better things....
It’s on Rod Rosenstein to do that.
That little SOB is up to his neck in the conspiracy: he wrote the letter recommending Comey be fired, and then turns around and puts together this little “Get Trump” gang?
He’s the one who mandates Mueller’s scope in the absence of Sessions. So it’s on him to stick to the policy. If Mueller is going where he wants - revenge for his buddy Comey, or as part of some conspiracy - then Rosenstein is duty bound to stop it.
He’s the one that started the party.
Refuse irrelevant Mueller subpoenas. Which are probably all of them.
For some real fun, investigate everything Obama from his high school days.
1000%...because Sessions recused himself from any Russia investigation doesn’t mean he’s recused himself from investigating any crimes (such as leaks coming from Mueller’s office) or investigating potential conflicts of interest from Mueller or Rosenstien...
Trump will fire him, I’m fairly certain of that. Trump has no patience for these government types that don’t actually do the job right.

I agree, but FBI director-nominee Christopher Wray was asked during his Senate confirmation hearings if he thought this investigation was a witch hunt. Wray answered “No.”
I don’t trust ANY of these FBI morons....their “special” agents or their directors, past, present or future.

Sessions also has done some other goofy things..... the Bureau of Land Mgt. Trial / is he siding with the prosecutors? Also that taking of personal property without trial. Rand Paul talking about that.

Personally, I would have thought Rudy would have been the smart choice for AG....
