I get Aviation and Space Weekly, and I can’t imagine there aren’t references to that in there that I missed, but...on the other hand, they do have a large Euroweenie presence in it, who are probably just fine with anything that negatively impacts US aviation.

Just curious (and I really am) why is a government subsidizing their airline illegal? (is that the illegal part you refer to?)

I am ignorant of rules and regulations surrounding this, but are there international treaties we are signatories to that prohibit this kind of undercutting?
