White House Meeting With Primary Challengers of GOP Sen. Jeff Flake

The White House has been meeting with prospective opponents of Sen. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) in an apparent effort to put pressure on the senator, who has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.

Flake refused to endorse Trump during the presidential campaign and said he could not attend the GOP convention because he had to "mow his lawn." Now, the Trump administration has had meetings with at least three prospective candidates to run against Flake in the Republican primary, Politico reports.

Flake is up for reelection in 2018 and is considered quite vulnerable.

Politico reports that Trump has talked to Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWit at least twice. DeWit was a part of Trump's 2016 campaign. White House officials have also met with former state Sen. Kelli Ward and former Arizona GOP Chairman Robert Graham.

Trump has vocalized his dislike for Flake. Trump said at a rally towards the end of his presidential campaign that he would spend $10 million of his own money to help a challenger defeat Flake in 2018.

Ok, Trump needs to establish a dedicated site so I can donate...again.

I’m good with this and would like to see some more of it. I’ve heard Paul Ryan will be challenged in the primary by the guy that opposed him the last time. I’ll be sure to send him some money.

The Mormon Mafia has wrecked Arizona GOP politics. Their agent Judge Murray Snow took down Sheriff Joe. They destroyed the career of Sen. Russell Pearce. They installed the despicable Flake, and lead the opposition to Trump. Yet no one will take these traitorous LDS bastards on. Trump needs to CRUSH them.

Sheriff Joe took down Clinton, Inc. with his eyes and ears on the ground at Sky Harbor Lynch/WJC meeting. His work was done here.

It is too bad that Arizona is a state where Democrats can vote in our primary.....What I hope happens which would be a first is that the Democrats have a robust primary in Arizona and concentrate on getting a candidate for themselves instead of worrying about our candidate. That may be the only way we can get a conservative. Now once that happens, we will have to ensure the person can win the general.

seriously? You don’t think holding hearings on Chemtrails was not a stumble? Explain it away as you wish, but she became a laughing stock to many people (not me I voted for her!)

It would be nice if someone in each traitor’s district announced a possible run.

Arizona is an open primary state. This could bite us in the rear.

Unfortunately, Texas is also open primary.

Major population cities like Houston, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso and Dallas are Dimm cities, so keeping Conservatives in office is the responsibility of more rural areas.

This is HARDBALL...all Trump has to do is show up about 3 times for joint appearances with Flake’s opponent in AZ and Flake’s opponent will be FULLY FINANCED to take him on.

This should be a lot of fun to watch.

Nehlen wasn't a real candidate last time and won't be running this time.

He was a cut out candidate. All of his monetary support from low-intelligence out of state donors went straight into the pockets of the DC based lobbyist who hired Nehlen to play a pretend candidate.

Flake is a smug complacent RINO @ss, but I think he’s starting to get nervous. He greatly underestimated the fierce loyalty we “deplorables” have for our President Trump. When Flake attacks President Trump, he attacks and mocks all of us personally. We will respond accordingly.

“Flake, Corker, Hatch and Heller all voted for Rubio’s amnesty bill.”

Flake, Hatch and Heller are Mormons, so they are probably part of the Mitt Romney Mafia.

You should at least get yourself up to date. Talk about low intelligence. Mercy.
