The interesting part is the 3rd paragraph where you see they snuck in eating, drinking, smoking, grooming and reading as offenses that you can also be ticketed for. Subsequently found out that many municipalities here such as Seattle, Tacoma, and Redmond also have these laws going into effect next week, but as primary offenses.
So cops who are behind the wheel all day are going to write themselves tickets for drinking coffee or a coke while cruising along? Also, I rarely see a cop driving along without a cell phone in their ear. That is going to change too?
To be a liberal... you have to believe legalizing marijuana is good for society but drinking coffee while driving is bad for it.
BTW, in Washington State it is also illegal to operate your vehicle while touching your cell phone in any way, even if it is in a cradle. Even if stopped at a stop light. What a state, another reason they don’t deserve an NHL team and to root against the Seahawks.
Oh, it turns out you are allowed a “single touch” or swipe to activate a hands-free function. Very enforceable. What a joke.
Ping!
Looks like we both got out in the nick of time!
Well, then. Time for a nap.
is nose picking considered grooming?? Scratching balls??
How silly, the BEST way to stay awake while driving is to be snacking!
When I worked in DC, my morning drive schedule coincided with a young woman
She put on her make up in bound to work
And drinking coffee. Leftist progressives; the anti-freedom party.
The only people more disgusting than leftists are muzzies.
I guess that would be 'grooming.'
I need to go to Washington state and go through a drive thru at Mickey D...and get pulled over. I’d tell them to F themselves.
I think the super amplified bass speaker woofers are more dangerous than eating french fries.
I see that quite often.
Hello constabulary: If YOU don’t obey the laws, where do you get off writing US citations, Hmmm?
Hypocritical jackwads.
