We’ll see how this plays out in practice.
I’m sure this law will be put to the test in the not too distant future.
This is a good law, obviously. But, how come doctors are allowed to do sex change operations at any point in persons life (outside of obvious chromosome and genetic disorders)? That’s mutilation too. Seriously, if a man came up to a doctor and said I identify as a lobster so I want my hands shaped into claws, wouldn’t a sane doctor refer him to a psychiatrist? I think the answer is yes. So, when a man says he wants his genitals changed into the female set why is this considered reasonable? I’m being totally serious with this question. Anyone on the political left out there, please argue for your side on this point I’m making.
What about male genital mutilation as a result of Sharia? That’s allowed?
No wonder men in Michigan are going transgender? Buahahahahaha!
Aubrey Terron:
“I’m so glad that there is finally some reality being shared when it comes to FGC. But what is NOT in Khazans article is the attending attitudes about the MALE genital cutting that these people in Africa and the Middle East also practice, and how the hypocrisy of only attempting to end ONE form of genital cutting invalidates their efforts. If anyone hopes to end genital cutting, they need to get these facts straight and stop approaching the issue as if women are the only ones being harmed.”

yep. That’s my most excellent, wonderful state.
Muzzies, the aclu, the splc, dems and other assorted wackos will sue to have it overturned.
And yet abortion is still legal.
