U.S. Senator John McCain will remain in Arizona next week to recuperate from a medical procedure that removed a 2-inch (5-cm) blood clot above his left eye, his office announced in a statement on Saturday.
It was unclear how McCain's absence might affect a crucial Senate vote on legislation to dismantle and replace Obamacare, with Republicans so divided that the absence of a single "yes" vote could doom the healthcare bill.

Dear Freeper Doctors and Other Experts: It seems obvious to this layman that a 2-inch “clot” above the eye would either be (a) very visible below the skin (has he been in public lately) or (b) inside the skull in which case would it be taking up space and pressing on... what exactly, the brain? Any thoughts, please?
Hey, whatever it takes. I am actually rooting for RINOs like Collins and Murkowski to kill this bill. Of course, I don't support their reasons for killing it. It doesn't go "far enough" for them. But as long as Obamacare Jr. is dead, I don't care which Republican does the dirty deed.
Full repeal, or we will have single-payer. Republicans promised full-repeal. Now's not the time to be fronting.
