Maybe China should have had some of those 25,000 spies they have in the U.S. deployed to India and Bhutan instead.
a) it's very difficult to attack its main area do to its geographical location and population size;
b) but its geographical position, hemmed in by mountains, desert, Siberia and island nations who are opponents makes it very difficult for it to project power.
Right now, it seems to be making the same rookie mistake Germany made in its rise by antagonizing everyone around it: even the Russians sent to missile batteries to the Russian Far East.
I have read that there are many in Bhutan that are concerned with India’s intervention here, as they consider the action may affect Bhutan’s sovereignty in that small province.
