The Chinese have no respect for international waters and international boundaries. They are thugs. Anyone thinking we should cooperate with them doing anything strategic is a traitor inviting them in.
Like all complex situations, caricatures will ultimately fail.
If we fear God more, then we will be in more of a position to invoke the fear of God upon China. That by all means it should prosper, but not in base ways.
