Why don’t they get their baby out of that freaking socialist hospital death-trap and get over here where a hospital is waiting for them?
British people used to be subjects, now they are just property.
the act of dying; the end of life; the total andpermanent cessation of all the vital functions ofan organism. Compare brain death.
an instance of this: a death in the family; letters published after his death.
the state of being dead: to lie still in death.
a distinct portion, section, or division of a wall, wainscot, ceiling, door, shutter, fence, etc.,especially of any surface sunk below or raisedabove the general level or enclosed by a frame orborder.
a comparatively thin, flat piece of wood or thelike, as a large piece of plywood.
a group of persons gathered to conduct a publicdiscussion, judge a contest, serve as advisers, beplayers on a radio or television game, or the like: a panel of political scientists meeting to discussforeign policy.
They say further treatment may cause him pain and that life-support keeping Charlie alive should be stopped.
The only way Charlie is going to feel pain is if the treatments actually do some good. Which would be bad, for the doctors.
I pray for them and for the baby.

This is a tough ethical situation.
My cousin, after his fatal fall / brain bleed, “lived” for four days. During that time as we prayed for his survival desperately, we learned that he would be unable to speak, walk, feed himself, NONE of his sports, hobbies, activities, wonderful job... all gone. It’s tough.
We can’t take Gd’s place but we also can’t let people suffer lying forever in a sort of coma. I do leave it to Him but there are some tough situations.
Speaking not of the ghastly system in England where they aren’t allowed to try things in another country. That is a different subject, one of a true free people, Or Not.
After doing some research it is doubtful anything is going to help this poor baby.
But I think it is up to the parents and it is their right to make the decisions not the State or the NHS Doctors. If they want to take him home to die then why not????????
We are having dinner with a couple with whom we have been friends for three or four years. We met the wife quite by chance and it turned out she was facing the same Aortic Heart Valve replacement as my wife. She opted for a less invasive approach and had a mechanical valve installed. Recently, she ended up with and infection in that area. a “team of six doctors” were convened to “help decide what should be done.” Five of them said she should just go into hospice care and prepare to die. The sixth doctor disagreed. He said he felt that she could withstand the open-heart procedure to have a pig valve installed. As I said, we are having dinner with them tonight, about six weeks after her surgery and she has never felt better.
So I am left with only a great deal of anger toward five a$$hole doctors who placed so little value on this woman’s life that they just told her to go home and prepare to die. Same goes for Charlie Gard. He may or may not survive the treatment being offered here, but he should not be denied that right by another group of a$$hole doctors who evidently have forgotten their oaths. Or some a$$hole Brit judge Neanderthal who can probably see through a keyhole with both eyes at the same time.
There will NOT always be an England.
These self-important British bureaucrats have been fricking around with this decision since January. Little doubt that their incessant game playing and turf protecting has diminished the chances of Charlie’s benefiting from any treatment. But they should still allow his parents to remove him from that hospital and take him from treatment elsewhere.
Even if the proposed treatments fail, something may be learned that spares the lives of other children in the future. What’s to lose? Oh, right- government’s tight CONTROL of its subjects.
Love those death panels. I wonder how we can translate that to Obamacare and hang it around the Democrats necks.
