That’s a good one to be! Besides being Erik Etrada is way better than being one of the illegals hiding along the border. LOL!
I hope someone gets Baby who will want to take care of her like you have. But really wish you didn’t have to sell. :(
He seemed to be having trouble getting the camera to work and darn if he didn't snap as I was speaking. Hence an odd expression on my face. Look like a dork. LOL
No you don’t! You look cute!
I wish I could afford Baby! That’s my favorite car in the world!
I wish we didn’t have to sell it, too, but dems’ da breaks sometimes.
I’d love to see the guy who’s asked me several times over the years about selling it to get it. Of the three serious inquirers, I think he’ll cherish it almost as much as I do.
My favorite too. They are just such beautiful cars.
When I think of the word classic...I think of that car. I've wanted one all my life...and just for a little while, my son had one. He just ran out of time at home and money to work on it with. It was pink. Remember that color? Just like..... Only his was a hard top. sigh |
When I think of the word classic, I think of the ‘57 Chevy and the ‘57 T-bird. Heck, ‘57 was a good year for a lot of car designs, period.
Funny you should mention a pink Bel Air ..... someone who stopped by to chat said they’d love to have a pink one. And we both noted that no one around here seems to have one. Not that we’ve seen any way.
I wish I could have gotten pix of a lot of the cars there today but they were parked so closely together, there wasn’t any way to get a good shot. There had been a car parked next to mine until just before I asked to have the pic taken. It was close enough I watched like a hawk as the woman got in on the passenger side. I was afraid she’d whack Baby with the car door but she didn’t.
It sure was a good year! Loved that T-Bird too. My first car was a ‘57 Ford Fairlane 500 brown and white hardtop. Was a good car! But I just wore it flat out and at the time, it wasn’t considered much of a classic.
Here is the result I got:
Hubby’s first car was a 57 Ford Fairlane 500 but his is black. It was his dad’s, who gave it to him when he turned 16. We still have it but it isn’t running.
Hubby had some ‘57 Chevys when he was younger but he wrecked them while racing. A LOT of them were wrecked on race tracks back then because they weren’t considered classics either. If they’d only known then ......
I always admired Sonny Crockett. Lived on the water with a pet alligator, detested bleeding hearts, was a sharpshooter, wore stylish threads, perpetual tan, had a way with the ladies and oh those cars! :-)
Grrrrrrrr! Thanks to FR's weird behavior ...I just now got here! Thank you, FRiends, for the suggestions! They have worked! *whew* Anyhooooo....have a Wonderful rest-of-Wednesday! ((((hugs))))
Maybe they can fix it! :D |
“Grrrrrrrr!
Thanks to FR’s weird behavior”
I think that you should send a mean, hateful message to JR calling him all kinds of names then say, “Strong message to follow!”
Heh Heh!
Cultural appropriation! /s
Dude! You tryin’ to get me into trouble?!
Hi, EGC! (((Hugs)))
Sorry it took so long...I was having connection issues. Thanks for playing!
“Dude! You tryin to get me into trouble?!”
Who? ME?
Who else?? ;)
“Who else?? ;)”
The devil made me do it! That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!
