It sure was a good year! Loved that T-Bird too. My first car was a ‘57 Ford Fairlane 500 brown and white hardtop. Was a good car! But I just wore it flat out and at the time, it wasn’t considered much of a classic.
Hubby’s first car was a ‘57 Ford Fairlane 500 but his is black. It was his dad’s, who gave it to him when he turned 16. We still have it but it isn’t running.
Hubby had some ‘57 Chevys when he was younger but he wrecked them while racing. A LOT of them were wrecked on race tracks back then because they weren’t considered classics either. If they’d only known then ......
