Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday released a stunning chain of emails detailing his conversations about setting up a campaign meeting with a Russian lawyer who had offered compromising information on Hillary Clinton.
The information “would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father,” reads one of the emails from Rob Goldstone, who acted as an intermediary to set up the meeting.
“This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump,” wrote Goldstone.
In one of the emails released on Twitter, referring to the information on Clinton, Trump Jr. told Goldstone: “If it's what you say I love it.”
In another email, Goldstone suggested the information about Clinton could be given to then-candidate Donald Trump through Rhona Graff, his longtime aide.
“I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to sent to you first,” Goldstone wrote.
The White House has not responded to the latest disclosure from the president’s son. Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday that Trump only learned of the meeting in the last few days.
She has denied that Trump Jr. colluded with the Russians in any way. American intelligence agencies have determined that Moscow meddled in the 2016 election on Trump’s behalf.
Trump has not commented publicly on the meeting.
Goldstone, a music producer who represents a Russian pop star named Emin Agalarov, has connections to both Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Trump. Agalarov's father was Trump’s partner in bringing the Miss Universe pageant to Russia in 2013.

And we have no info on what was said in the meeting.
In any event, it went nowhere.
Expect the fake news media to keep on it because hey, its fun covering a conspiracy theory.
I read little Ezra Klein over on Vox speculating on that. He said the parallel would be Chelsea setting up a meeting with her father and John Podesta to get Trump’s tax returns from Chinese Intelligence. I can definitely see that happening, and there wouldn’t be all this faux outrage.

People, you are all missing the point here. The CIA and FBI already new this. They new about the meeting. They were watching this Russian lady. They were bugging her. And they used this to listen in to the Trump Tower. The CIA and the FBI have given this story to the NYT. This is a crime. But its not what you think. The Crime is the CIA giving NYT info from bugging a Russian and listening in to everyone in the room. This is part of the deep state and the NYT keeping the story alive.
When it comes to the media-driven agenda of political destruction, a story about a mysterious memo or e-mail or conversation is usually far more damaging than the actual memo or e-mail or conversation.
You can't post a bullsh!t story about what may have been said if the "damaging" information is already out there.

I believe you are right. On other forums the talk is this “set-up” was the reason the Obama Administration was able to spy on the Trump campaign and then unmask Americans.
That’s why he did it. He knew they wanted the scoop so he scooped the scoop for “transparency”. LOL None of the liberal media is smart enough to outsmart a Trump.
BTW, this is driving CNN Fraud News underwater from a ratings standpoint.
