I get the impression that there's a story here.
That’s okay. That’s what they’re for, and I actually support this kind of thing.
Very strange. I just doubt it was random.
You are right.
I’m sorry, but with all the LGBT carp these days, this mention of the gender reveal set off all the alarms.
There’s nothing at all wrong with what you described.
My kids are in their 40s now, so these new events along the way are not something I have kept in tune with.
If people really need to have ‘parties’ for crap like this, it’s difficult to get too upset when it ends this way.
LOL, that’s now a picture in my mind.
I can see that clearly.
I agree. It’s good that family and friends help parents, whether they’re first-time parents or ones in the biz long-term.
My choir gave me a surprise shower. We’d planned a practice, I thought, and I was feeling tired, being 45, so I called Rafaela and said, “I don’t think I can make it,” and she said, “Oh, no, you have to be there! Asuncion and Norma can’t agree on the plans, and I don’t know what to do!” If I hadn’t been 8 months pregnant, I wouldn’t have fallen for it, because Asuncion and Norma never disagree, but it got me out of bed, and then they surprised me with cake and games and presents, and we also practiced.
Me too, that’s what I thought. Things are mighty weird now.
You don’t mean that.
The really crazy thing I’ve seen is non-medical 3D ultrasound pics of your baby. This is the most stupid thing ever. Let’s rattle around the baby’s brain at 40 Khz because we are too impatient to wait for the kid to pop out.
I have no idea how these people got their hands on that equipment.
Hahaha. We knew half of ours. We were asked by physicians (two residents and one ob) what we were going to name one of ours upon delivery. We didn’t have a name chosen yet. The Filipina nurse emphatically stated, “His name is _____.” And so it is, though we don’t call him _______. Lol.
There ain't no other reason....it's always about the narcotics...
Heh.
Ultrasounds can be wrong.
Been there, done that.
They were correct on little mm #1 and #2 and wrong on #3.
We don’t call some of our children by their names, either. Allen is Patrick. Jonathan is Frank. Sabina “Don’t call me Sabrina!” is Sally. But James is James. My mother addresses cards to him as “James call me James,” because she wanted to call him Jim but he didn’t go for it. And William went from Billy to Bill to William, but I still call him Bill.
I had to guess the sex of our first 4 children, wrong all 4 times. I got the next 2 right though. . . We adopted them.
My mother used to have dreams to tell us the babies’ sex, but with Tom, she said she dreamed it was a golden retriever. “Not sure that means,” she said.
My brother just texted me to tell me he did his DNA via Ancestry.com. It made me think that there are gonna be some upset trannies. They should sue.
Your brother is your sister? One of my friends said her nephew found out he’s really her brother ... complex family situation.
By the time ultrasounding babies gender came around we were through making babies.
“Sounds like something retailers are pushing... more excuses to buy stuff.”
The retailers have a ready to be suckered clientele. ... I would guarantee there’s a cottage industry on this, like birthday and wedding planners. Because, apparently, no one is capable of doing this on their own.
