Well YAY for the rain cooling things off nicely!

We got a little rain but not much more than you did .... only .15 of an inch. It rained heavily along the way a couple of times while took Churchill to the vet but we got only that little bit.

Ended up being a good day. I thought we might lose Churchill because he stopped eating over the weekend. He’s Buckwheat’s half-brother and I feared his kidneys were conking out too. Fortunately, his blood work came out great and he apparently just has a bad sinus infection. Sub-Q fluids and a Convenia shot have him feeling better already.

We’d planned to go to a fireworks show tonight but rain on the radar over that town kept us home. I went out a little while ago to watch fireworks being shot off around the area though. Nothing going on around here tomorrow.

Anything fun going on there y’all plan to do?

Glad you got some rain, too! Every little bit helps and at least neither of us got any hail this time!

Awww...poor Churchiill! I hope his sinus infection clears up and he hangs in there. Is he older or younger than Buckwheat?

Our stupid city had the fireworks on Saturday night! The “Firewoks Fandango” they call it. Close of the downtown area, have food and music and then fireworks at 10pm. Now there’s nothing going on tomorrow. I don’t go anyhow, though. It’s too hot and too crowded and I detest tejano music! LOL!
