Glad you got some rain, too! Every little bit helps and at least neither of us got any hail this time!

Awww...poor Churchiill! I hope his sinus infection clears up and he hangs in there. Is he older or younger than Buckwheat?

Our stupid city had the fireworks on Saturday night! The “Firewoks Fandango” they call it. Close of the downtown area, have food and music and then fireworks at 10pm. Now there’s nothing going on tomorrow. I don’t go anyhow, though. It’s too hot and too crowded and I detest tejano music! LOL!

Yes, rain and no hail for either of us. That’s a good thing.
Apparently there wasn’t much wind here but there sure was while I was out on the highway. No lightning though.
We MIGHT have a shot at a little rain shortly. Just depends on if it holds together or falls apart. And tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat of today.

The town south of us had their fireworks Sat. night and the one to the north had theirs scheduled for tonight. No one has anything scheduled for tomorrow though I’m sure people will shoot fireworks off from their yards like they’ve been doing for the past week. IF it doesn’t rain tomorrow night.

Church has had a slightly runny nose for a while but it didn’t seem to bother him much. His white cell count was a little elevated so the vet figured he has some inflammation in there. Must be right because he’s perked up quite a bit since we got home. Just glad this wasn’t a repeat of Buckwheat’s situation. That would have been really hard to handle.
Churchill is 3 mos. and 3 wks. younger than Buckwheat. He’ll be 17 on Sept. 1st and is now the oldest of the “herd” since Buckwheat is gone.
