JFK had no morals. He would have gone with the flow of the RAT party.

JFK wanted nothing to do with senseless and endless wars.

Which would make him an enemy of the NeoCon nutjobs as well.

And he was a proud Democrat. But would he be one today?....No, not today. The Democrat party has transformed from the party of slavery to the party of enslavement. Started, by the way, by LBJ. Nixon actually attempted to stop this but made several missteps (EPA, China)and the progressives went after him (mostly because he prosecuted Alger Hiss). Flame on, but it’s true.

Based on his agenda, especially civil rights, JFK would be a moderate Republican today.

JFK had no morals. He would have gone with the flow of the RAT party.

Those views weren't far out of the mainstream in the Democrat Party of the time. Holding such views then would not have been the millstone that it would be today. Every Kennedy (including JFK) would sell their souls for political power (assuming any Kennedy had a soul).

Meaningless question.

The state of affairs after 1968, and after 2016, make “who was a Republican or Democrat” in 1960 of no significance.

One only has to look at the career of his brother Ted. JFK would have evolved to match lockstep with Ted in thought and deed. His views matched his time but would have changed as the nation did under lib rule.

If JFK were alive today and followed the same policies he would be considered a conservative Republican or possibly even a right wing nut.

Ronald Reagan was a liberal Democrat for much of his life.

JFK like Reagan would have become a conservative Republican.

His idiot drunken brother, Ted, and the next generation of Kennedys are very different from JFK.

John F. Kennedy lowered taxes, opposed abortion, supported gun rights, and believed in a strong military

So did everyone in 1960. He couldn't have been elected if he didn't.

The debate then was about labor power vs capital power, and the distribution of wealth. Opposition to Communist expansionism was common to both parties and the only debate was about how far to go in opposing it.

The Bay of Pigs was a disgrace. He should have asked for advice by Eisenhower who saw Kennedy as totally incompetent.

Low morals aside (no factor for RATs), they wouldn’t have him.

There is no more democrat party.

What we call Dems today, we called commiescum yesterday.

In the early ‘70s, our domestic commeiscum were bragging in public about the Long March through our schools and institutions that they had planned. And damn us for sitting on our hands and letting them get away with it.
